  • Patent number: 10871080
Abstract: A steam turbine valve drive apparatus in an embodiment includes a piston, a cylinder, a bidirectional pump, a servo motor, and a quick closing mechanism. The cylinder houses the piston in an inner space thereof, the inner space being partitioned by the piston into a first hydraulic chamber and a second hydraulic chamber. The quick closing mechanism executes a quick closing operation of closing the steam valve unit more quickly than the closing operation. Here, the quick closing mechanism executes the quick closing operation by feeding the working oil accumulated in an accumulator to the second hydraulic chamber and draining the working oil from the first hydraulic chamber.

  • Patent number: 9790805
Abstract: In the embodiment, a steam valve device has, a steam regulating valve, and an intermediate flow path connecting the main steam stop valve and the steam regulating valve. The main steam stop valve and the steam regulating valve respectively have: casings where flow paths are formed between horizontal inlet ports and outlet ports opened downward and valve seats are arranged in the flow paths; valve elements movable up and down in the casings; and valve rods for driving the valve elements. The valve rods extend upward, and they are pulled off upward in a direction to outside of the casings when opening the flow paths. The intermediate flow path changes the flow direction of main steam flowing out of the outlet port of the main steam stop valve from downward direction to horizontal direction to guide the main steam toward the outlet ports of the steam regulating valves.

  • Patent number: 5177123
Abstract: Self-lubricating polyacetal resin compositions and molded articles (e.g. "wear parts") formed thereof include a polyacetal base resin, and a self-lubricating effective amount of a silica powder in which a silicone polymer (e.g. silicone oil) is absorbed. The silica powder acts as a carrier for the silicone polymer so as to improve the dispersibility of the silicone polymer in the polyacetal base resin as well as to allow greater silicone polymer "loading" of the polyacetal base resin. As a result, improved lubricant dispersibility and sliding characteristics are achieved.
