  • Patent number: 8353089
Abstract: According to the present method, a paste-type electrode of lead-acid battery in which a space in the lower surface side of an electrode is favorably filled with a paste-like active material so that inner ribs of a current collector forming a grid shape does not remain exposed. The current collector is filled with a paste-like active material to obtain an electrode when the current collector passes below a filler including a hopper for containing the paste-like active material. An electrode surface is pressed during transfer of the electrode before the fed paste-like active material is hardened.

  • Publication number: 20070189672
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing an optical. waveguide device which comprises a step of forming a V-shaped groove on a substrate; a step of applying a filling polymer-containing coating solution having an NV value of not less than 35% onto the substrate, drying the applied coating solution and then removing the unnecessary filling polymer so that the filling polymer remains only in the V-shaped groove; forming an optical waveguide consisting of a polymer on the substrate; a step of making a cut at a position corresponding to the end face of the optical waveguide; and a step of removing all the polymer present in and on the V-shaped groove.

  • Patent number: 4427027
Abstract: A liquid storage chamber having a plurality of stages formed by horizontal partition plates which divide the space in the tank into a plurality of storage chambers. The partition plates have openings at their alternating ends so that the liquid supplied to the tank can flow down through the successive liquid storage chamber in a serpentine manner. The liquid storage chamber further has an opening flow setting plate having a multiplicity of liquid passage ports and disposed in each opening for making the liquid flow laminar through each opening and a storage chamber flow setting plate having a multiplicity of flow passage ports and disposed in each liquid storage chamber for making the liquid flowing horizontally in each liquid storage chamber flow in the form of a laminar flow.
