    Abstract: An apparatus for collecting cleaning bodies in a tubular heat exchanger capable of collecting the cleaning bodies with a high collection efficiency against the temporary introduction of a large amount foreign matter such as falling tools in a cooling water system and against the deflected flow of the cooling water from the upstream side. A rectifying member rectifies or regulates the deflected flow of the cooling water from the upstream side whereby it is possible to collect the cleaning bodies without any adhesion and stagnation of the cleaning bodies in the cooling water on V-shaped collection lattices. It is also possible to trap a large article such as a falling tool between a guide member disposed downstream of the collection lattices and the collection lattices, and to introduce only the cleaning bodies into the guide member. Furthermore, the downstream port of a cleaning body discharge pipe opens toward the downstream side to thereby prevent the clogging of the port with the foreign matter or the like.

    Abstract: A stroke-end position of an injection cylinder of the die cast machine is detected and a position of the injection cylinder for sending a boosting-signal is set. This position is a predetermined standard boost stroke distance from the stroke-end position. When the injection cylinder reaches the position for sending the boosting-signal in the casting cycle, an oil-pressure intensifier is advanced. In this method, before casting is performed, a value representing a stroke after slowing-down and a setting value of the plunger stopping position are determined and the start point for slowing-down is calculated by subtracting the value of the stroke after slowing down from the setting value.

    Abstract: A dehumidifier for removing moisture contained in air upon discharging the air which has been introducing from outside, comprises a container body, a meshed receptacle which is suspended through a receiving mouth formed on top of the container body and accommodates therein a deliquescent moisture absorbent, and a cover which covers the top end of the container body excluding the receiving mouth. On the top end of the container body, there are provided a receiving tube which is suspended therein and the bottom portion of a battery chamber. In the cover, there are provided an air sending tube which forms a vent passage together with the receiving tube being located within the receiving tube and is suspended lower than the receiving tube and a cover which forms the battery chamber together with the bottom portion of the battery chamber of the container body. When the fill-up of molten metal in a cavity is completed by an injection plunger, the moving speed of the injection plunger is rapidly decreased. When the speed at this time becomes lower than a preset value, a preset delay time is measured. After a lapse of this delay time, the squeeze plunger is operated to press a molding material in the cavity, so that plastic flows are caused in the molding material.

    Abstract: A container for volatile liquid aromatics to perfume the air is disclosed, in which a cylindrical tube having a closed lower end and accomodating the absorbing core portion of a volatilizing structure extends downward from the top of the container into liquid aromatics stored in the main container body. Thus, the volatilizing structure is kept dry prior to use. The container also comprises an opener for the lower end of the tube receiving the absorbing core portion of the volatilizing structure. The opener may consist of a needle-shaped pin extending in the tube. Simple activation of the opener by the user of the container is sufficient to commence vaporization. The volatilizing portion of the volatilizing structure is preferably in the form of an elongated strip whose widthwise direction is vertically disposed and which is curved lengthwise into a fold.
