  • Patent number: 5582086
Abstract: A ceramic green sheet for a laminated ceramic capacitor is formed on an upper surface of a carrier film and carried onto a surface plate while maintaining adhesion between the carrier film and the ceramic green sheet. Thereafter a cutting line having a closed outline is defined in the ceramic green sheet and a sheet cut enclosed by the cutting line is taken out by a pickup apparatus having a punching edge in its periphery and provided with a suction head in a portion enclosed by the punching edge.

  • Patent number: 5567240
Abstract: An apparatus including a supply source for a long composite which includes a long carrier film and a green ceramic layer continuously formed thereon along its longitudinal direction, a printing station, a drying station and a punching station. A conductor film is printed on the green ceramic layer with conductive paste in the printing station, the printed conductor film is dried in the drying station, and the green ceramic layer provided with the conductor film is punched while being registered with the conductor film and separated from the carrier film in the punching station, whereby a ceramic green sheet for a laminated ceramic electronic component is extracted.

  • Patent number: 5505809
Abstract: In order to manufacture a multilayer ceramic electronic component such as a multilayer ceramic capacitor, a long ceramic green sheet is prepared, and this long ceramic green sheet is fed along its longitudinal direction and is successively subjected to steps of printing conductor films on the surface of the long ceramic green sheet with conductive paste, drying the conductor films, punching out the long ceramic green sheet into ceramic green sheets of prescribed sizes at prescribed punching positions with respect to the location of the conductor films, and stacking the punched ceramic green sheets with each other.

  • Patent number: 5417784
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a laminated electronic component such as a laminated ceramic capacitor, for example, which includes the steps of preparing a ceramic sheet provided with orientation marks, punching the ceramic sheet on the basis of the positions of the orientation marks, and stacking such ceramic sheets on the basis of the positions of the orientation marks. The punching step and the stacking step, which require alignment, are carried out on the basis of the positions of the orientation marks, whereby the ceramic sheets are stacked with high accuracy of alignment in the laminated electronic component as obtained.

  • Patent number: 5338189
Abstract: A holding plate holding a number of chip components coated with electrode paste is carried into a furnace body. The furnace body includes a rotator which is intermittently rotated about a shaft. The rotator is provided with a plurality of radial blades, each of which is provided with a pair of inward holding grooves for holding both side portions of the holding plate. The holding plate is carried to an inlet portion and outlet portion by a conveyor and the plate is inserted into the holding grooves by an introduction arm. The furnace is provided with heaters and fans to dry the electrode paste during rotation of the rotator.
