    Abstract: A cooling device includes a base material providing a heating element on a first surface and a heat exchanger on a second surface opposite to the first surface, the heat exchanger receiving heat from the heating element to perform heat exchange with a refrigerant, and a case material including a refrigerant inflow port and a refrigerant outflow port, the refrigerant inflow port supplying the refrigerant to the heat exchanger. The case material is attachable to the base material in two forms of a first form and a second form, the first form being a form in which the refrigerant inflow port and the refrigerant outflow port are attached to the base material in a first direction, and the second form being a form in which the refrigerant inflow port and the refrigerant outflow port are attached to the base material in a second direction different from the first direction.

As viewed in a stacking direction of the plurality of heat exchange tubes, at least one of the plurality of slits extends in a state where a center in an extending direction thereof deviates from a straight line connecting the two adjacent protruding support portions.

The centrifugal pump includes a lower casing that comes into contact with the heatgenerating electronic parts, an upper casing disposed to face the lower casing to form a pump chamber, and an impeller sandwiched between the upper casing and the lower casing. The lower casing includes a recessed conical surface facing the impeller, at least one protrusion provided in a center portion of the recessed conical surface and a contact face with which the heat-generating electronic parts come into contact formed directly below the protrusion on an opposite side of the recessed conical surface.

    Abstract: A cooling device for cooling a heat-generating component includes a circulating passage arranged to have coolant circulate therein, a centrifugal pump including a first case made of metallic material, a second case made of resin material, and an impeller accommodated in the pump chamber, and a radiator provided at the circulating passage and being operable to release heat from the coolant. The first case has a surface arranged to contact the heat-generating component. The second case forms a pump chamber between the first case and the second case. The pump chamber stores the coolant therein. The impeller includes open-type vanes arranged to pressurize the coolant as to have the coolant flow through the circulating passage. The cooling device has a high cooling efficiency as well as a high operating efficiency of the motor while having a simple construction and a small overall size and a small thickness.
