  • Patent number: 7182117
Abstract: A film dispenser for applying an adhesive film to an elongated structure has a mounting frame, guide members on the bottom portions of the mounting frame sides to engage the shoulder portions of the elongated structure to allow movement of the apparatus in relation to the elongated structure while the guide members remains engaged with the shoulder portions, and roll mounting assembly for securely receiving a film roll near the top leading end of the apparatus. When the guide members are engaged to the shoulder portions of the elongated structure, an end of the adhesive film is applied onto the surface of the elongated structure, the apparatus is then slid to dispatch more adhesive film with controlled and consistent lateral positioning in relation to the surface of the elongated structure.

  • Patent number: 5206172
Abstract: A possible counterflow of a fermenting solution (8) from a fermentation tank (1) into a heating medium supply pipe (2), which counterflow may be caused by a pressure difference arising between the inner space (7) of the tank (1) and the pipe (2) after the supply of a heating medium is finished, is prevented by making the pressure difference disappear with a check valve (6) connected to the pipe (2) in the direction from the inner space (7) of the tank (1) to the pipe (2).

  • Patent number: 4638329
Abstract: A thermal recording method and apparatus for printing picture information with use of a thermal head, in which picture information corresponding to one unit to be printed is divided into a plurality of blocks using counters, etc., and the rate of black data contained in each of the divided blocks is detected to know the distribution of black data contained in the one unit, whereby printing is carried out with the minimum number of printing determined by the distribution of black data in the one unit.

  • Patent number: 4234811
Abstract: A supporting structure for a thickness-shear type crystal oscillator for watches which has an excellent resistance to shocks, which is very compact in construction and which can support not only an annular crystal piece but also support a rectangular crystal piece is disclosed. The supporting structure comprises a supporting frame which is provided at its opposed inner periphery with tongues adapted to be engaged with corresponding notches provided on opposed end portions of a crystal piece, respectively.

  • Patent number: 4160928
Abstract: An oscillator case assembly includes a casing element and an oscillator element housed therein in a hermetically sealed manner. The casing element is made of a solid insulating material, preferably glass or ceramic material, and at least two thin conductive layer elements are provided on said casing element, each serving as parts of lead-in and lead-out means for the oscillator element, respectively.

  • Patent number: 4079281
Abstract: An improved AT-cut crystal oscillator for electronic watches. The AT-cut crystal oscillator is of substantially disc-shape. Furthermore, the AT-cut crystal oscillator is shaped in cross-section such that the periphery of the disc-shaped crystal oscillator is abruptly tapered. In the preferred embodiment, the cross-section is trapezoidal.

  • Patent number: 3988621
Abstract: The invention relates to a support structure for a thickness-shear mode, convex lens type oscillator. The support structure contains an elastic ring made from an insulating material such as nylon. This ring is formed with a plurality of spaced, radially inwardly and integrally extending projections from the ring proper and said projections represent concentric recesses of opposite configurations one after another adapted for establishing pressure contact with the quartz crystal at their opposite surfaces and at different peripheral areas thereof.
