  • Patent number: 8080503
Abstract: Cleansing bar compositions having high water content comprise: (a) at least about 15%, by weight of the composition, of water; (b) from about 40% to about 84%, by weight of the composition, of soap; and (c) from about 1% to about 15%, by weight of the composition, of inorganic salt. The bar compositions further comprise a component selected from the group consisting of carbohydrate structurant, humectant, free fatty acid, synthetic surfactants, and mixtures thereof. The bar compositions preferably have a Water Activity (“Aw”) of less than about 0.95, preferably less than about 0.90, and more preferably less than about 0.85. The bar compositions are preferably manufactured by a milling process.

  • Patent number: 7451637
Abstract: A method of evaluating contact characteristics of an object having a roughness includes setting geometric shape data for the roughness; creating a roughness model and a structure model that comes in contact with the roughness, based on the geometric shape data set; making the roughness model and the structure model come in contact with each other; acquiring a physical amount occurring at least one of a contact region of the roughness model and a contact region of the structure model; and obtaining an evaluation value for evaluating a real contact state in the contact region between the roughness model and the structure model, from the physical amount acquired.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20080014231
Abstract: The present invention relates to treatment articles capable of delivering intensive care and overall care simultaneously. The articles comprise a first substrate, a second substrate which substantially covers the first substrate at-use, a first treatment composition and a second treatment composition wherein the delivery of the skin care active to the skin is initiated by the treatment composition. The articles also comprises a first substrate which contains a first treatment composition, a second substrate which substantially cover the first substrate at-use and a treatment composition wherein delivery of the first treatment composition is initiated by the second treatment composition. Preferred articles of the present invention comprise facial treatment masks.

  • Patent number: 6868716
Abstract: This invention provides a product shape designing process for designing an optimal product shape, particularly a pneumatic tire contor in a cross section, comprising the following steps. A shape generation step of setting plural basal shapes and linearly combining the basal shapes to generate plural sample product shapes, a performance evaluation step of obtaining evaluation values on a product performance of the sample product shapes generated in the shape generation step, and a product shape extraction step of extracting an optimal product shape whose evaluation value on the product performance is an optimal value based on the evaluation values on the product performance obtained in the performance evaluation step. This process realizes a smooth optimal tire contor that reduces rolling resistance coefficient while increasing lateral spring constant of the tire for good drivability.
