  • Patent number: 9616202
Abstract: A treatment device includes: a balloon; a biologically active agent part applied on an outer surface of the balloon; a protective sleeve encircling the balloon and being displaceable proximally; and an interposed member having a self-expanding function arranged between the balloon and the protective sleeve. When the protective sleeve is moved proximally in order for the balloon to be exposed to the inside of a blood vessel, the presence of the interposed member prevents the biologically active agent part from being scraped and peeled off by the inner surface of the protective sleeve.

  • Patent number: 7592995
Abstract: An emphasis converter 52 compares the image data of the current vertical period with the image data of the previous vertical period and controls the input image data to a liquid crystal display panel 4 based on the emphasis conversion parameters stored in tables of ROMs 3a to 3c so as to achieve accelerated drive. A microcomputer 38 is able to realize stable control of selecting emphasis conversion parameters by adding hysteresis to the detected temperature from a thermistor 37 even when the detected temperature fluctuates up and down crossing the temperature threshold.

  • Patent number: 7511772
Abstract: When a video signal type detecting section detects a video signal of PAL/SECAM (50 Hz) video signal, the input image data is subjected to enhancing conversion with a degree lower than the degree of enhancing conversion in the case of NTSC (60 Hz). With this, the response speed of liquid crystal is improved and an image noise on account of excessive enhancement is eliminated, so that the deterioration in image quality is prevented. As a result, the enhancing conversion with respect to the input image data is performed in such a manner as to compensate the optical characteristics of the liquid crystal display panel, and an image noise on account of excessive enhancing conversion with respect to PAL/SECAM (50 Hz) image data, and hence high-quality image display is realized.

  • Patent number: 7397457
Abstract: An edge detecting circuit detects whether a particular pixel belongs to an edge by determining whether the differential value of the pixel from the neighboring pixel is equal to or greater than a threshold. Based on the detection result, an emphasis converter stops OS drive when the image of a pixel area is regarded as an edge image in accordance with the detected result of the edge detecting circuit and implements OS drive when the image of a pixel area is not regarded as an edge image. In this way, the edge detecting circuit detects edge portions of the input video, whereby OS drive in the emphasis converter can be controlled so as to be turned on and off.

  • Patent number: 4719645
Abstract: A rotary anode assembly for an X-ray source, having a annular V-groove target portion for generating a desired characteristic X-ray emission by an electron beam bombardment applied thereto, wherein the V-grooved target portion is formed from a pair of target members each being formed into a body of rotation with respect to the axis of rotation of the assembly and having a surface including therein a coaxially-formed annular tapered portion. The target members are combined together so that the annular tapered surface portions face to each other with a predetermined angle therebetween, thereby constituting the annular V-groove. The annular V-groove target portion is formed in the peripheral surface of the rotary anode assembly or in the side surface of the anode assembly, which is perpendicular to the axis of rotation.

  • Patent number: 4500789
Abstract: When an electron beam is projected onto a desired pattern region, the acceleration voltage of the electron beam is set at a value at which the distribution of the scattered electrons in a predetermined region is substantially uniform. The exposure dosage is determined according to the ratio between the total area of the patterns to which the electron beam is projected in the predetermined region and the area of the predetermined region. The exposure time of the electron beam is determined in dependence upon a dose amount and the electron beam current. The exposure time of the electron beam is changed when pattern data is changed and a correction factor is calculated accordingly.

  • Patent number: 4413187
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for exposing an electron beam of a beam-shaping type, wherein the electron beam can be shaped into polygon having desired size by passing through a first and a second apertures. The position of the first or the second aperture tends to be deviated from its design position due to heat, resulting in a deviation of the electron beam. According to the invention, the offset value of the real image formed on the second aperture, with respect to the ideal image, is automatically determined by detecting a current passing through the second aperture. During an electron-beam exposure for patterning, the amount of deflection of the electron beam is corrected by taking the previously obtained offset value into consideration.
