Patent number: 8475053Abstract: A first fit portion and a second fit portion of an inner ring according to the invention have a spring property. Therefore, the first and second fit portions may be flexed radially outward by elasticity thereof and then fitted to a shaft. Thus, the inner ring is tightly fitted to the shaft with a set interference with respect to the shaft. Accordingly, it is easy to fit/remove the inner ring to/from the shaft. Therefore, an outer peripheral face of the shaft is pushed radially inward by elasticity of the first and second fit portions, that is, the inner ring is tightly fitted to the shaft, without reducing the ease of fitting/removing the inner ring to/from the shaft. As a result, it is possible to minimize generation of creep.Type: GrantFiled: July 27, 2010Date of Patent: July 2, 2013Assignee: JTEKT CorporationInventor: Toshihiko Shiraki

Publication number: 20100314959Abstract: The invention is aimed, in a rolling bearing device, to improve its durability by appropriately attenuating vibration of a rotating shaft by means of a high level of dumping performance, and thereby to reduce the load imposed on the rolling bearing and/or the overall system. A rolling bearing device of the present invention comprises a rolling bearing (13) including: an inner ring (24) and an outer ring (23) that are disposed so as to be relatively rotatable; and a plurality of rolling elements (25) disposed between the inner ring (24) and the outer ring (23), in which the rolling bearing (13) supports relative rotation between a shaft (14) and a housing (12). Besides, the rolling bearing device comprises, between the rolling bearing (13) and the housing (12), a damper member (60) formed by one or more metal wires (64) that are knitted.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 7, 2008Publication date: December 16, 2010Applicant: JTEKT CORPORATIONInventors: Hiroshi Ueno, Toshihiko Shiraki, AkiĆ² Oshima, Tomonori Nakashita, Masaaki Ohtsuki, Shigenori Bando, Masaki Abe, Ryuji Nakata, Takehisa Kida
