Abstract: An electrostatic recording medium is disclosed comprising a recording layer, a conductive layer, and a support, the conductive layer being a dried coating film of a mixture composed of (A) a polyurethane binder resin prepared by reaction of a polyester and a polyisocyanate, and (B) a predispersion of carbon black.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for applying signal voltages to an electrostatic recording multi-stylus electrode device composed of main electrodes and control electrodes. A decoder detects the presence or absence of a single "black" bit or dot signal within an input video signal. If multiple "black" bits are present or if no "black" bits are present, a normal control voltage is applied to the control electrodes. Otherwise, if a single "black" bit is detected, a voltage higher than the normal control voltage is applied to the control electrodes. By so doing, the occurrence of missing single "black" dots is substantially eliminated.

Abstract: An electrostatic recording member comprising a recording layer, an electrically conductive layer and a support, wherein the electrically conductive layer is composed of from 2 to 40 parts by weight of electrically conductive micro-fine powder dispersed in from 60 to 98 parts by weight of an organic polymer binder, and has a surface resistivity of 10.sup.6 to 10.sup.8 Ohms.

Abstract: An electromagnetic coupling device for use with a telephone set having a hand hole in the rear thereof, the coupling device comprising a hollow plug removably insertable in the hand hole; a first winding of wire disposed within the hollow plug for receiving electrical signals from the telephone set; a second winding of wire disposed within the hollow plug for transmitting electrical signals to the telephone set, the wire of the second winding being substantially thicker in cross section than the wire of the first winding.
