  • Patent number: 11381085
Abstract: An operational support device sets an execution time of overfiring serving as an operation of a power generation facility at an output higher than a rated output. The device includes a life index value acquisition unit that acquires a life index value at a start time, the life index value being an index indicating a life of the power generation facility and changing in value in one direction with the output of the power generation facility; an output pattern setting unit that sets an output pattern per unit time of the power generation facility from the start time to a stop time based on the life index value such that the life index value reaches a predetermined value; and an overfiring setting unit that sets, based on the output pattern, a time in a period from the start to the stop time at which the overfiring is to be performed.

  • Patent number: 11268409
Abstract: A power plant system can comprise a first gas turbine having a first efficiency to produce a first exhaust flow, a first electrical generator driven by the first gas turbine, a first heat recovery steam generator to receive the first exhaust flow and generate a first steam flow, a second gas turbine having a second efficiency less than the first efficiency to produce a second exhaust flow, a second electrical generator driven by the second gas turbine, and an exhaust gas conditioning device to reduce temperature of the second exhaust flow, a steam turbine driving a steam electrical generator to receive the first steam flow. The second gas turbine can be selectively operated to generate electricity with the second electrical generator under peak loading conditions when a sum of output from the steam electrical generator and the first electrical generator are less than an electrical demand from a grid.

  • Patent number: 11085335
Abstract: A remodeling method of a combined cycle plant including gas turbines; heat recovery steam generators provided corresponding to number of the gas turbines and configured to recover heat of flue gas discharged from the gas turbines and produce steam by the recovered heat; ducts configured to guide the flue gas from the gas turbines toward the respective heat recovery steam generators; and a steam turbine configured to be rotationally driven by the steam produced by the heat recovery steam generators. The remodeling method of a combined cycle plant includes: removing gas turbines and ducts; installing, in place of the two gas turbines, a new gas turbine that is higher in efficiency and smaller in number than the two gas turbines; and installing, in place of the ducts, a distribution duct configured to distribute and guide flue gas from the new gas turbine to two heat recovery steam generators.
