  • Patent number: 5557433
Abstract: In a TN LCD, a prism lens film and a wave lens film are disposed on the incoming and outgoing sides of a liquid crystal panel, respectively, to obtain an image wide in visual angle and good in its quality. Thus, outgoing light having a sharp directivity, can be obtained from light emitted from a surface illuminant and having a gradually varying directional property by the prism lens film. Further, with a louver film provided in front of the prism lens film, all the light traveling in the diagonal direction can be cut off so that substantially parallel light enter the liquid crystal panel. Since the light in which a variation in retardation is next to nothing, is diffused by the wave lens film, a wide visual-angle representation free of a dependence on the visual angle can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 4790466
Abstract: A pin tractor for feeding blank paper for use in various printers, typewriters, etc. which are used as output devices for electronic computers, especially for personal computers. A belt carrying pins is driven to turn by a toothed driving pulley provided at a frame comprising only one member. The toothed driving pulley is supported to the frame only at one end portion thereof and the other end portion is a flange exposed outwardly. A positioning mark is provided at the exposed surface of the other end portion of the pulley.

  • Patent number: 4752119
Abstract: An electrochromic display devices using a specific type of diphenylamine as an electrochromic material is described. The diphenylamine compound, which is dissolved in an inert solvent along with an electrolyte, can undergo electrochemically reversible color formation and erasure reactions and form two different colors at one of electrodes on application of two different potentials across the electrodes. Multicolor devices are also described in which the diphenylamine compound capable of forming colors by oxidation is used in combination with an anthraquinone compound which is capable of forming a color, different from the colors of the oxidized species of the diphenylamine coumpound, at the same electrode by reduction.

  • Patent number: 4735352
Abstract: Pin tractors for feeding blank paper in various printers, typewriters, etc. for use as output devices for electronic computers, especially for personal computers. A belt carrying pins is wound rotatably around a driving toothed pulley and a driven pulley. A driven pulley is fitted rotatably to a cylindrical part of a fixing member composing a lock means to fix a frame to a guide shaft or to a tubular part of a revolving member.

  • Patent number: 4614287
Abstract: Pin tractors which are used in various printers, typewriters, etc. for use as output devices for electronic computers, especially for personal computers. This pin tractor has a synthetic resin frame around which a belt carrying pins is wound revolvably and a presser member made of synthetic resin supported revolvably by said frame. Blank paper having feed perforations at its both edges is held between said frame and said presser member. Pins of said belt carrying pins are engaged with feed perforations of blank paper for feeding blank paper. Said presser member has pawl parts and said frame has concaves to correspond to said pawl parts. Said pawl parts are fitted in said concaves to keep said presser member opened in the specific degree.
