  • Publication number: 20240360156
Abstract: Provided is a compound represented by the formula (I): wherein each symbol is as defined in the specification, or a salt thereof, which has an AMPA (?-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic acid) receptor potentiating action. The compound of the present invention is useful as a prophylactic or therapeutic drug for depression, schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disease or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and the like.

  • Patent number: 6953435
Abstract: A biological data observation apparatus includes a measuring unit including at least a photoelectric sensor including a light emitting element for emitting light with a predetermined wavelength onto a blood vessel of a subject and a light detecting element for detecting, as a photoelectric volume pulse wave, a change in an amount of transmitted or reflected light resulting from the light emitted from the light emitting section, a storage area in which pressure conversion data correlating a pulse wave area and a blood pressure value in order that the pulse wave area may be converted to the blood pressure value as an absolute value, the pulse wave area being obtained by integrating a wave form of the photoelectric capacity pulse wave per heartbeat, an operational unit calculating the pulse wave area on the basis of the photoelectric volume pulse wave obtained from the subject and further calculating the blood pressure value of the subject on the basis of the calculated pulse wave area and the blood pressure con

  • Publication number: 20020095092
Abstract: A maximum blood pressure and a minimum blood pressure are first measured using an oscillometric method. Pulse waves of a vessel occurring during the measurement are measured by a reflection-type photoelectric sensor. The maximum and minimum blood pressures and the pulse waves occurring at the times of maximum and minimum blood pressures are associated with each other. After that, the blood pressure is calculated from the associated values and the pulse waves of the vessel serially detected by the reflection-type photoelectric sensor.
