  • Publication number: 20110241360
Abstract: A lid lock apparatus for a vehicle, includes a driving motor, a shaft member configured so that a first end portion thereof protrudes from a housing to be engageable with a lid body of a vehicle body, thereby retaining the lid body unopenable, and so that the shaft member retracts in response to an actuation of the driving motor, thereby being disengaged from the lid body, and an operating pull cord including a shaft engagement portion attached at a second end portion of the shaft member, a handle portion and a cord portion, which are made of a synthetic resin, so that the handle portion and the shaft engagement portion are integrally formed via the cord portion, and configured so as to retract the first end portion of the shaft member towards the housing when an operator pulls the handle portion, thereby disengaging the shaft member from the lid body.

  • Patent number: 8008874
Abstract: A brightness adjusting device has: a warm-up time determining unit which calculates a temperature difference between the outside temperature detected by an outside temperature detecting unit and the inside temperature detected by an inside temperature detecting unit and reading and determining a warm-up time corresponding to the calculated temperature difference, as an estimated warm-up time, from a product inside temperature table stored in a product inside temperature table storing unit; a target brightness value determining unit which reads and determines a target brightness value, which corresponds to the estimated warm-up time read and determined by a warm-up time estimating unit, from a target brightness value table stored in a target brightness value table storing unit; and a brightness value setting unit which sets a brightness value of the display device according to the target brightness value read and determined by the target brightness value calculating unit.

  • Publication number: 20110115239
Abstract: A lid lock apparatus for a vehicle includes a retainer, a cap, and a lock pin. The retainer includes a fitting portion to which an end portion of the cap is configured to fit from an outside of the lid box towards an inside of the lid box and a first engaging portion formed to be positioned outward of the lid box relative to the fitting portion. The cap includes an operational lever portion configured to be elastically deformed to tilt by an operation at an outside of the lid box and including a second engaging portion configured to engage with and disengage from the first engaging portion.

  • Patent number: 7798539
Abstract: A door lock device for a vehicle includes an operating mechanism being selectable of a locked state where a latched state, between a latching member and a latched member, being unreleasable and an unlocked state where the latched state being releasable, an active lever being rotatable between a locked position and an unlocked position thereof, and an open link disabling a transmission of an operational force of a handle to the latched member under the locked state and allowing a transmission of the operational force of the handle to the latched member under the unlocked state. The active lever, provided with an elongated bore, is supported by a housing which houses the operating mechanism to be rotatable. The open link is operatively connected to the handle to be slidably supported by the housing and is provided with an engaging portion which engages with the elongated bore to be slidable therein.

  • Publication number: 20080023971
Abstract: A door-lock child protecting device capable of preventing a child in a vehicle from opening a door is reduced in size. This device includes an open member (1) being movable in a direction of releasing a door lock, an inside lever (2) for being actuated by an input from an inside handle, a movable operating member (3) for moving the open member (1) in the direction of releasing the door lock, a child protecting member (4) capable of being switched by an operation of an operating portion (41) between a set position to execute child protection and an unset position not to execute child protection, and a base (5). The child protecting member (4) is rectilinearly movable between the set position (S1) and the unset position (S2) and inhibited from being rotated with respect to the base (5).
