  • Patent number: 10457235
Abstract: A load detector is capable of detecting a load placed on a seat. A temperature detector is capable of detecting a temperature and located adjacent to the load detector. A correction controller corrects the load detected by the load detector in such a way as to deduct a time change amount of the load from the detected load when a time change amount of the temperature detected by the temperature detector is larger than a predetermined threshold value of the time change amount of the temperature and the time change amount of the load detected by the load detector is smaller than a predetermined threshold value of the time change amount of the load. A determination controller determines a sitting condition on the seat based on the corrected load.

  • Patent number: 10044261
Abstract: A DC power supply circuit outputs an output voltage, which varies with an input voltage. The output voltage therefore occasionally deviates from a normal output voltage range although the DC power supply circuit is normal. However, the DC power supply circuit converts the input voltage in a predetermined relation between the input voltage and the output voltage. When the output voltage of the DC power supply circuit deviates from a predetermined normal output voltage range, a determination circuit determines that the DC power supply circuit is abnormal when the input voltage and the output voltage of the DC power supply circuit are not in the predetermined relation. It is thus prevented that the DC power supply circuit is erroneously determined to be abnormal although operating normally. As a result, it is possible to eliminate erroneous determination in determining the operation state itself.

  • Patent number: 9478750
Abstract: This organic electroluminescent element is manufactured by using an anthracene derivative having a pyridyl aryl group substituted with an alkyl represented by formula (1) as an electron transport material, and satisfies characteristics such as the following in an adequate and well-balanced manner: improves the external quantum efficiency of the light-emitting element, which is generally required by the electron transport material; reduces the drive voltage of the light-emitting element; and increases the life of the element. (In formula (1), Ar is a divalent or trivalent benzene or naphthalene; R is hydrogen or an alkyl with a carbon number of 1 to 6, but all of the Rs never simultaneously form hydrogen; and R1 to R4 are, individually, hydrogen, an alkyl with a carbon number of 1 to 6, a cycloalkyl with a carbon number of 3 to 6, or an aryl with a carbon number of 6 to 20.

  • Publication number: 20160033345
Abstract: An apparatus 10 for measuring a load applied to a seat includes a load sensor 11 furnished to the seat 20 and capable of outputting a load applied to the seat 20 and a seat 20 weight; a temperature detection unit 12 for detecting a temperature of the load sensor 11; and an applied load value determination unit 13 for determining a load applied to the seat 20, according to an output value of the load sensor 11. The applied load value determination unit 13 of the apparatus 10 for measuring a load applied to a seat determines a value relating to a load initially applied to the seat 20, based on the output value of the load sensor 11 when the temperature of the load sensor 11 is within a first temperature range including a predetermined temperature.

  • Publication number: 20140168441
Abstract: A vehicle occupant detection device for capturing as an image the behavior of a vehicle occupant, who is seated on a seat of a vehicle, by an image capture unit and detecting the position of a specific portion of the vehicle occupant. When the presence of the vehicle occupant is determined, a control unit controls the image capture unit so that image capture is performed in a high-speed mode in which image capture intervals are relatively small, and when it is determined that the occupant is not present, image capture is performed in a low-speed mode in which image capture intervals are relatively large.

  • Publication number: 20140098232
Abstract: An occupant sensing device that accurately detects the state of an occupant regardless of the influence of extraneous noise and outside light and the influence of a defect in detected data when lighting of auxiliary light is delayed. When a specific part detection possibility/impossibility determination unit determines that the detection of the position of a specific part, such as a head, in the latest image is impossible, on the basis of past data stored as data corresponding to images outputted from a camera earlier than the latest image in a storage unit, the position of the head is predicted and detected.

  • Publication number: 20090301654
Abstract: In an adhesive sheet, a first coating layer as an adhesive layer is provided to a portion of the adhesive sheet that faces a lens surface. Since the adhesive layer is formed of an adhesive composition containing a (meth)acrylic ester-based polymer, a tackifier resin, and a cross-linking agent, a lens having small friction coefficient and having a surface treated with a fluorine-containing silane compound or the like can be effectively prevented from an axial misalignment due to excellent adhesive strength.
