  • Patent number: 11384007
Abstract: A bushing for producing glass fibers, including: a base plate; and multiple nozzles from which molten glass is discharged, in which a nozzle group formed with the alignment of the multiple nozzles is joined to the base plate. A coating layer made of ceramics is formed on each of the nozzles forming at least a row of the outermost layer of the nozzle group, but the coating layer does not cover the entire nozzle, that is, the nozzle is covered so as to be in a state of no coating layer in the vicinity of the nozzle tip.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a bushing for producing glass fibers, including: a base plate; and multiple nozzles from which molten glass is discharged, in which a nozzle group formed with the alignment of the multiple nozzles is joined to the base plate. In the present invention, a coating layer made of ceramics is formed on each of the nozzles forming at least a row of the outermost layer of the nozzle group. The coating layer does not cover the entire nozzle, that is, the nozzle is covered so as to be in a state of no coating layer in the vicinity of the nozzle tip. The present invention is a bushing plate for producing glass fibers, with which the occurrence of irregular phenomena is suppressed and a uniform glass flow can be obtained stably over a long period of time.

  • Publication number: 20170247283
Abstract: The present invention is a bushing for manufacturing a glass fiber that includes a base plate, a plurality of nozzles for discharging molten glass, and a nozzle group in which the plurality of nozzles are arranged in lines, being bonded to the base plate, wherein nozzles constituting at least one nozzle array among nozzle arrays of outermost layers of the nozzle group are plugged to a half or more of a nozzle length from a tip in depth. The glass-fiber-production bushing plate makes long-term, stable discharge of a uniform glass flow possible.

  • Publication number: 20160332906
Abstract: The present invention is a bushing for manufacturing a glass fiber, including a base plate and a nozzle for discharging molten glass, the nozzle being arranged in lines in a plurality of numbers on the base plate to thereby form nozzle arrays, in which a windbreak wall projecting from the surface of the base plate is installed along a nozzle array of the outermost layer of the nozzles arranged in lines. The dimension of the windbreak wall can be adjusted while considering a cooling action of the open air on the nozzle. The bushing for manufacturing a glass fiber of the present invention suppresses abrasion damage of the nozzle, which may be generated in the use process thereof.

  • Patent number: 5557402
Abstract: A surface flaw detecting apparatus of workpiece fast in flaw detecting speed, significantly shortened in the line cycle time, and simple and inexpensive in structure. By means of a control device, while a work rotating device is rotating a work about its axial line, a cleaning device remove soiling from the surface of the work, and its surface is illuminated by a lighting device, and its reflected light is detected by a line sensor camera, and presence or absence of flaw on the work surface is judged by a judging device from the result of detection. This series of measuring operation is done while the work makes a full revolution about its axial line, and hence as compared with other optical measurement, the measuring time may be shortened remarkably.
