Abstract: A color video camera processing circuit is provided with a circuit for generating an intensity signal containing color signals from photo-sensors at predetermined proportions, and a circuit for generating color difference signals on the basis of the color signals independently from the intensity signal. A color video signal is generated on the basis of the intensity signal and the color difference signals. A color reproducibility and Moire or the color reproducibility and an S/N ratio are improved. The Moire is significantly suppressed by rendering products of ratios of sensitivities of the photo-sensors and component ratios of the color signals to be summed to be substantially equal.
