  • Patent number: 8786161
Abstract: A motor in which drive current supplied to a winding is controlled in accordance with a rotational position of a rotor detected from a waveform of an induced voltage between phases. The motor is provided with a stator including 3×n teeth and windings for three phases. A rotor includes a rotor core, an n number of magnets, and an n number of salient poles. The magnets function as one of the magnetic poles, the salient poles function as the other one of the magnetic poles. Each salient pole is spaced apart by a gap from the adjacent ones of the magnets in the circumferential direction. The magnets and gap are arranged inward in the radial direction from the rotor core. An electrical angle between two ends of each magnet is set to be smaller than an electrical angle between two ends of each salient pole.

  • Publication number: 20120098378
Abstract: A motor includes a rotor of 4n magnetic poles and a stator. The rotor includes a rotor core, 2n magnets embedded in the rotor core and 2n salient pole portions formed integrally with the rotor core. A gap is formed between each magnet and the circumferentially adjacent salient pole portion. The stator has 6n tooth portions arranged to face the magnets and the salient pole portions in the radial direction, and coils. Each coil is wound about one of the tooth portions. An electric angle ? that corresponds to a mechanical angle ?? defined by a reference line that passes through a central axis of the rotor and the circumferential center position of each magnet, and a line that passes through the central axis of the rotor and the trailing end of each trailing gap, is set in the range of 90°<?<126°.

  • Publication number: 20120001509
Abstract: A motor including a stator and a rotor. The stator includes teeth and windings. Each tooth has a distal portion defined by a radially inward side of the stator. The rotor, which is arranged inward in the radial direction from the stator, includes a rotor core, magnets, and salient poles. Each salient pole is separated by a void from the magnet that is adjacent in the circumferential direction. The distal portion of each tooth is longer than a radially outward side of each magnet.

  • Patent number: 6316862
Abstract: In a motor drive apparatus for an ultrasonic motor, a microcomputer checks whether a starter is driven within a predetermined time period from a detection of motor lock, when the motor lock is detected before the detection of a decrease in a battery voltage. The starter drive is stored in its internal memory. The microcomputer checks whether the starter was driven within the predetermined time period, when the battery voltage is restored and the starter drive is completed. The microcomputer drives the ultrasonic motor again if the check result indicates that the starter motor was driven.

  • Patent number: 6278220
Abstract: An ultrasonic motor drive apparatus includes a transformer having a primary coil and a secondary coil which drives a piezoelectric body of an ultrasonic motor. One end and the other end of the primary coil are connected to the drains of MOSFETS. The gates of the MOSFETs are connected to receive switching signals to alternately turn on and off electrical currents which flow in the primary coil. The sources of the MOSFETs are connected to the ground through ferrite beads, respectively. The ferrite bead generates a counter electromotive voltage so that the surge voltage which develops on the drain of the MOSFET at the time of turning off of the MOSFET is suppressed and high frequency oscillations are suppressed.

  • Patent number: 6127947
Abstract: A vehicle onboard device having characteristics capable of being changed communicates with a vehicle to set a characteristic value to an optimum value. Parameters for setting conditions of an electronic device are called out of an E.sup.2 PROM 14.sub.i of the vehicle 10.sub.i and are transmitted to a technology center 40 via a dealer 20.sub.1, and an information center 30.sub.1. Each dealer 20.sub.1, the information center 30.sub.1, and the technology center 40 accumulate the parameters. The technology center 40 can collect the parameters of numerous vehicles and characteristic values for electronic control of each of the vehicles and can calculate newest and optimum parameters. The technology center 40 transmits this newest and optimum vehicle information to the vehicle 10.sub.i, and each vehicle updates the parameters thereof to these newest and optimum parameters. Accordingly, the parameters of the vehicle are set as the newest parameters.

  • Patent number: 5434375
Abstract: A switch with a connector, having a switch body and a first connector member. The switch body is screwed into and fixed to a supporting member. The first connector member is mounted to the switch body and provided such that a direction of connecting a second connector member to the first connector member is disposed at a predetermined angle with respect to a direction of inserting the switch body. The first connector member is disposed so as to be rotatable around an axis along the direction of inserting the switch body. When the first connector member is rotated around the axis along the direction of inserting the switch body after the switch body is fixed to the supporting member, the first connector member can be set at a predetermined position for connecting the first connector member to the second connector member.

  • Patent number: 5318798
Abstract: When a powdered extract of Kampo medicine is encapsulated as such in hard capsules, the pharmaceutical effects of the Kampo medicine cannot be fully achieved, since the dissolution of the content of the hard capsules requires a long period of time. Therefore, the present invention aims at providing Kampo medicine hard capsules having good dissolution properties. The present invention provides a process for producing Kampo medicine hard capsules which comprises compacting Kampo medicine extract powder, mixing magnesium stearate with the compacted Kampo medicine extract powder and filing the mixture into gelatin hard capsules. It is preferable that the weight ratio of the magnesium stearate to the Kampo medicine powdered extract ranges from 0.5/100 to 3/100. Furthermore, it is preferable that said Kampo medicine is selected from Oren-gedoku-to, Sho-saiko-to, Ninjin-to, San'o-shashin-to, Mao-bushi-saishin-to, Anchu-san, Keishi-bukuryo-gan, Byakko-ka-ninjin-to, Shakuyaku-kanzo-to and Sairei-to.
