    Abstract: There is provided a capsule in which large and sharp burr is not easily formed in such case of unsealing. This capsule comprises a cap portion 1, a skirt portion 2, and a tearable guarantee strip 3. Weakening lines 4 and 5 are formed at a boundary between the tearable guarantee strip 3 and the cap portion 1, and at a boundary between the tearable guarantee strip 3 and the skirt portion 2. The weakening line 5 comprises linear compressed part 8 and saw-tooth-like compressed parts 9. The saw-tooth-like compressed parts 9 are formed so as to serrate from the linear compressed part 8 to the tearable guarantee strip 3 side. The saw-tooth-like compressed parts 9 may be also formed so as to serrate from the linear compressed part 8 to the skirt portion 2 side. The weakening line 5 may be also formed of a plurality of circular arc compressed parts each drawing an arc on the tearable guarantee strip 3 side and disposed with a certain distance.

    Abstract: A capsule having a cap portion may be torn together with a pulling tab for tearing. The capsule comprises the cap portion and a skirt portion. Two weakening lines for tearing the cap portion are provided between the cap portion and the skirt portion. One of the weakening lines on the cap portion side is inclined to a top of the cap portion with a certain inclination as it approaches near the tear-terminating end. When pulling the pulling tab outwardly, the cap portion is torn along the weakening lines. Then, as it approaches near the tear-terminating end, the cap portion is torn upward toward the top, thereby opening the cap portion. Thus, the cap portion is removed from a cap of a bottle together with the pulling tab in one unit.

    Abstract: There is provided a cover for a bottle neck or a capsule in which large and sharp burrs are not easily formed when the capsule is removed. The capsule comprises a cap portion, a skirt portion, and a tearable guarantee strip. Weakening lines are formed at a boundary between the tearable guarantee strip and the cap portion, and at a boundary between the tearable guarantee strip and the skirt portion. The weakening lines comprise linear compressed part and saw-tooth-like compressed parts. The saw-tooth-like compressed parts are formed so as to serrate from the linear compressed part into the tearable guarantee strip. The saw-tooth-like compressed parts may also be formed so as to serrate from the linear compressed part into the skirt portion. The weakening line may also be formed of a plurality of circular arc compressed parts each forming an arc extending into the tearable guarantee strip and each separated from its adjacent arc by a given distance.

    Abstract: A container for separately accommodating a pair of liquids, such as mineral water and whisky, including a main body for accommodating a first liquid, a small cup for accommodating a second liquid, provided with a flange extending from the entire periphery of an upper end of the small cup and a skirt extending downward from the entire periphery of an upper end of the flange, and a flexible lid for liquid-tightly sealing an upper free opening of the small cup. The small cup is fit into an upper free opening of the main body engaging the flange and the skirt with the entire periphery of an upper end of the main body. The small cup has a specified area, in a bottom wall, at least partially bordered by a score line. The lid has a downward projection. The specified area is broken by pushing down the lid until a tip of the projection presses to break the specified area, whereby the second liquid flows down into the main body and mixes with the first liquid in the main body.
