  • Publication number: 20080099395
Abstract: Chlorinated ethylene-decomposition bacteria is detected by performing PCR using nucleic acid comprising 18˜25 nucleotides that preferentially hybridizes to the 16S rRNA or rDNA of chlorinated ethylene-decomposing bacteria and has any of base sequences of SEQ ID No. 1˜15, a base sequence that has at least 90% homology with any of these base sequences, or a base sequence complementary to any of these base sequences as the primer and the nucleic acid in a sample as the template. The DNA fragment that has been synthesized is detected. Chlorinated ethylene or ethane is decomposed by introducing the chlorinated ethylene-decomposing bacteria detected by this method to contaminated soil or underground water.

  • Patent number: 7350713
Abstract: When power is turned on, control unit requests a user to enter a security code on the basis of information of SIM card inserted into a card I/F. If the security code entered by the user is an authorized code, the control unit permits the user to use the apparatus such that the apparatus can be utilized. In addition, the control unit urges a display unit to display a security code entered through operation unit, as hidden letters, and to display a control command such that the control command can be visually recognized.

  • Patent number: 4182745
Abstract: The present invention relates to a catalyst comprising at least a metal salt of heteropoly-acid, which is composed of a sort of heteropoly-acid and one or more metals selected from a group of the first transition metals of the periodic table. The catalyst of the present invention exhibits high activity and selectivity in the catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides with ammonia at a temperature of from 250.degree. to 550.degree. C. and offers high resistivity to the poisonous effect of sulfur oxides. It does not entail a wasteful use of the reducing agent, because the catalyst of the present invention does not accelerate the reaction of the reducing agent such as ammonia with oxygen coexisting in the waste gas to be treated, which results in the elimination of the undesired excessive consumption of the reducing agent.
