Patent number: 10139431Abstract: If input signal is transmitted to a main body unit, a sensor amplifier stores the input signal in itself as measurement data, and transmits the input signal with the added transfer order information to the main body unit. By checking the transfer order information added to the input signal, the main body unit can confirm if the input signal is deficient or not. Upon the end of the measurement of the physical quantity, the main body unit transmits the retransmission request that requests the retransmission of the deficient portion of the data to the sensor amplifier. According to the retransmission request from the main body unit, the sensor amplifier extracts the deficient portion of the input signal data stored in itself and retransmits the extracted input signal data to the main body unit.Type: GrantFiled: May 8, 2013Date of Patent: November 27, 2018Assignee: RION CO., LTD.Inventors: Yasutaka Nakajima, Kiyokatsu Iwahashi, Masaharu Ohya, Toshihiro Ueta, Naru Sato, Ryota Hotta, Yu Kurosawa, Yuichi Yonemoto

Patent number: 6357977Abstract: A processing method and a processing machine for restraining abrupt increase in a load applied to a tool in entering a workpiece and for avoiding decrease in tool's life span are provided. When an end mill EM is entered into a processing surface of a workpiece W, the end mill EM is first entered obliquely to a processing surface of the workpiece W, and is moved oppositely to the entering direction while keeping the cutting depth. Alternatively, the end mill EM is entered obliquely to the processing surface of the workpiece W and is moved oppositely to the entering direction while gradually increasing the cutting depth of the end mill EM. When the cutting depth reaches a predetermined cutting depth, the end mill EM is moved parallel to the processing surface of the workpiece W.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 1999Date of Patent: March 19, 2002Assignee: Toshiba Kikai Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Takeshi Momochi, Masahito Shiozaki, Toshihiro Ueta

Patent number: 6341245Abstract: A history of function values of a spindle rotation frequency in each time period from present to past is stored in a data table 22D and corrective coefficients are stored in advance in a corrective coefficient table 22C relating the coefficients to the location in the data table 22D. Each location and corrective coefficient are read out from the corrective coefficient table 22C and the function value of the spindle rotation frequency corresponding to the location is read out from the data table 22D. The compensation value is calculated from the total sum of each product of the function value and the corrective coefficient in each location and compensate the NC command position with the compensation value.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 1998Date of Patent: January 22, 2002Assignee: Toshiba Kikai Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Toshihiro Ueta, Kazuo Nagashima

Patent number: 6089799Abstract: A surface finishing method and a machine therefor, in which good finish accuracy can be obtained in all carving surfaces and deterioration of tool's life can be prevented. When a surface of a concave portion formed on a workpiece is carved, an end mill is first revolved along an outermost side of a slope, and is moved toward inside and revolved along a circumferential direction. When a surface of the slope is carved, a movement path of the end mill is selected so that the surface of the slope is down-cut. When a bottom is carved, the end mill is moved from inside to outside, in other words, the movement path is selected so that a surface of the bottom is down-cut.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 1998Date of Patent: July 18, 2000Assignee: Toshiba Kikai Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Takeshi Momochi, Masahito Shiozaki, Toshihiro Ueta

Patent number: 6090026Abstract: An automatic tool exchanging machine include a machine body such as gear box, a tool exchanging arm having a tool grasping member and supported by the machine body to be rotatable and to be linearly reciprocally movable in an axial direction of a rotation shaft of the machine body, a rotation drive mechanism provided for the machine body, and a power transmission mechanism for transmitting a driving power of the rotation drive mechanism to the tool exchanging arm. The power transmission mechanism is provided with a motion conversion mechanism for converting a rotational motion of the rotation drive mechanism including servo-motors to a linear reciprocal motion of the tool exchanging arm and the motion conversion mechanism is composed of a feed screw mechanism. The feed screw mechanism is a ball screw mechanism.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 1998Date of Patent: July 18, 2000Assignee: Toshiba Kikai Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yutaka Hosokawa, Toshihiro Ueta, Hirohiko Honda

Patent number: 5237509Abstract: In a numerical control of a machine tool, the relation between the total number of instructions, or the range of movement of the movable member of the machine tool and the actual amount of movement is not represented by a straight line but periodically change sinusoidally over substantially equal ranges of movement, due to a lead error of a ball screw used for moving the movable element. For the purpose of correctly compensate the position error in a short time, the total range of movement of the movable element is divided into a plurality of ranges, and start and end points of movement, types of movement of respective ranges and periods thereof are stored in memory means. The actual position of the movable element and the data stored in the memory means are used to correct the actual position of the movable member.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 1991Date of Patent: August 17, 1993Assignee: Toshiba Kikai Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Toshihiro Ueta, Masahito Shiozaki, Jun Fujita
