  • Patent number: 4486749
Abstract: A fluorescent display device having a plurality of anodes arranged in the form of a matrix having rows and columns. Each anode arranged on the same row is connected together at intervals of two anodes and control electrodes are disposed opposite to each two anodes respectively on a column-by-column basis.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 3, 1982
Date of Patent: December 4, 1984
Assignee: Futaba Denshi Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha
Inventors: Takao Kishino, Tadashi Funazaki, Toshihiro Yamaguchi
  • Patent number: 4412213
Abstract: A fluorescent display apparatus having a plurality of anodes linearly arranged and divided into consecutive several groups each containing the same number of anodes. Each of the anodes disposed in corresponding positions of the respective anode groups is electrically connected in parallel, and a control grid is provided in each of the anode groups in an opposed relation. A particular anode representing the value of an input signal is illuminated by energizing one of the anodes in the respective anode groups and one of the control grids.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 12, 1981
Date of Patent: October 25, 1983
    Assignee: Futaba Denshi Kogyo K.K.
Inventors: Takao Kishino, Toshihiro Yamaguchi, Kazunori Tanaka
