  • Patent number: 8007389
Abstract: A technique of a heavy object turning apparatus that is compact, is enabled to reduce the distance between the center of gravity of a heavy object and a pivot positioned on an axis, and is configured so that a turning arm and a drive unit has a length in the direction of an axis passing through the pivot around which the heavy object is turned. A control unit fixes a support base onto a stand. An orthogonal axis reduction gear serves as an anterior reduction gear and has a configuration in which an output shaft is on an axis of a planetary gear type reduction gear serving as the posterior reduction gear. An input shaft is perpendicular to the axis. The orthogonal reduction gear is constituted by a hypoid reduction gear or a worm-geared reduction gear. A motor is disposed on the bottom surface of the orthogonal reduction gear.

  • Patent number: 7794350
Abstract: A compact turning device for a heavy object, comprising a turning arm joined to the heavy object and a drive device drivingly turning the turning arm. The drive device further comprises a motor incorporating a rotor shaft connected to the rotating input part of a planetary gear type speed reducer on a same axis (A). Also, the turning arm is installed by joining its first plane to the plane of the planetary gear type speed reducer forming the rotating output part and its second plane orthogonal to the first plane to the heavy object. The turning arm and the drive device are disposed within the width (D) of the heavy object in the axis (A) direction of the turning pivot of the turning arm. The planetary gear type speed reducer of the drive device may be disposed in two front and rear stages.

  • Patent number: 7093733
Abstract: An activating device activates a cover for the opening face of a container. Pivot arms are fixed to a pivot unit equipped with an electric motor through a reduction gear at one ends, and fixed to plate springs at the other ends. One end portions of the plate springs are fixed to the respective front and rear portions of the cover, the other end portions thereof are fixed to the other ends of the pivot arms. The resiliency of the plate spring is set lower in the vertical direction of the container. The plate spring is bent from its other end portion toward its one end portion at substantially 90° or larger of bending angle. The plate spring is formed so that it bends toward the inside of the center of the cover between the pivot arm and the cover.

  • Patent number: 5558286
Abstract: A yarn winder, used for winding various kinds of yarns by automatically setting the moving speed of a bobbin holder so that it is suitable for the increasing size of the yarn package wound onto the winding bobbin holder. In the winder, while a contact roller (7) is pressed onto a bobbin (9) inserted onto a bobbin holder (8) or a yarn layer wound on the bobbin (9), a yarn (Y) is traversed by a traverse apparatus (6), and thus, the yarn is wound on the bobbin. The movement of the contact roller due to increase of the wound yarn is detected by a sensor (16), and the slider is moved based on signals detected by the sensor so as to move the bobbin holder in such a direction that it moves away from the contact roller. The slider is actuated by signals from the sensor detecting the amount of the movement of the contact roller, and the speed of the winder can be varied stepwise or continuously.

A main compression member for radically expanding the bobbin holding devices is disposed at one end of the bobbin holder. At least one supplementary compression member for supplementing expansion force of the main compression member is disposed at an intermediate portion between a bobbin holding device located at the end where the main compression member is disposed and another bobbin holding device located at an opposite end.
