  • Patent number: 11164058
Abstract: Provided is an information recording object designed such that a read angle of embedded information is easily assessed. An information recording object, which comprises a combined image including an image C1 and an image C2 formed on the image C1, is configured so that the image C1 and the image C2 are different patterns generated according to specific rules and so that the reflected light quantities differ due to respective viewing angles, and the image C1 and/or the image C2 can be recognized in the combined image in accordance with the viewing angle, and the combined image has an angle-specifying area formed using a material having the same reflected light quantity as the image C2.

  • Patent number: 11102372
Abstract: The objective of the present invention is to provide an information recording body, a medium and a printed product having improved design properties. An information recording body provided with a superimposed image including a brilliant layer and a transparent layer formed on the brilliant layer is characterized in that: the brilliant layer is a chromatic color image formed from a brilliant material; the transparent layer is a regular pattern image formed from a transparent starting material; the transparent starting material is configured in such a way that an amount of light reflected therefrom differs depending on an observation angle; and the superimposed image is formed in such a way that the transparent layer is recognizable in accordance with a specific observation angle.

  • Patent number: 10242309
Abstract: Provided are an information recording object and a reading device devised so that embedded information is difficult to guess. The information recording object 30 provided with a combined image comprising an image C1 printed in a lustrous layer 31 and an image C2 formed on the image C1 and printed in a transparent layer 32 is characterized in that: the image C1 and the image C2 are each printed with an ink for which the amount of reflected light differs according to viewing angle; for the combined image, one image is visible depending on the viewing angle; the image C2 is an image in which there is a regularity in feature points in a spatial frequency domain F2; and the image C1 is an image in which the feature points in a spatial frequency domain F1 are disposed at positions that block said regularity.
