  • Patent number: 5239742
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a motor comprises the steps of punching intermediary products of stator cores out of steel bands along profile lines with the intermediary products partly connected to the steel bands, forming wire winding frames of synthetic resin around magnetic core pieces of the intermediary products of stator cores as integral parts thereof, separating the intermediary products of stator cores carrying integrally formed wire winding frames from the steel bands, winding wires around the wire winding frames to form excitation coils and assembling the stator cores and the rotors in a case so that the magnetic pole pieces are juxtaposed with said rotors. With such a method, wire winding frames are formed around magnetic pole pieces of a plurality of intermediary products for stator cores produced by punching as integral parts. Thereafter, a set of intermediary products are separated to produce an independent stator core assembly.

  • Patent number: 4639628
Abstract: A small sized motor comprises a core formed with numbers of bent pole-teeth at the periphery of the core and a single-flanged coil bobbin with its drum portion fitted onto the core at the outer periphery of said pole teeth to form a first bobbin assembly. The small sized motor further comprises second associated bobbin assembly. The pair of bobbin assemblies are coupled together in a back-to-back fashion. A pair of lead wire holding members are coupled to the outer periphery of the bobbin flange and are openable at hinge portions for winding a coil wire onto the bobbin.

  • Patent number: 4603377
Abstract: A main distribution board is designed to be mounted on a main distribution frame ("MDF") of a switching office for interconnecting inside and outside cables. A plug-in type connector is connected to the end of the inside cable. A first terminal block has U-groove clip terminals which are connected to the plug-in connector. A second terminal block has U-groove clip terminals which are connected via jumper wires to the clip terminals of the first terminal block. A third terminal block has U-groove clip terminals which are connected to the outside cable. A receptacle having female contact terminals is connected to the clip terminals of the second and third terminal blocks, the receptacle also having a female contact terminal for making a ground connection. This receptacle also receives male contact terminals of a protector module which includes a protection device. At least one back wiring board has the connector, the first, second and third terminal blocks and the receptacle mounted thereon.

  • Patent number: 4263928
Abstract: A security device for a fuel such as natural gas having a series circuit of a relay switch, a hazard detecting switch, a relay switch operating coil and a timer. A valve coil is adapted to open and close a main fuel supply valve. The valve coil is connected in parallel to the series circuit. A reset switch is adapted to excite the valve coil and is connected in parallel with the relay switch. In one embodiment, the hazard detecting switch, the relay switch operating coil and the valve coil are coupled through a transformer in series with an electric source. The hazard detecting switch the relay switch operating coil and the valve coil are disposed on a secondary side of the transformer. The main fuel supply valve is normally closed such that in case of a power failure, the valve will close and remain closed.

  • Patent number: 4262687
Abstract: An electromagnetic valve circuit used in a fluid line security device is disclosed. The circuit is adapted to open and close a fuel supply pipe. The circuit includes an attracting circuit and a holding circuit connected to one side of a power source. The attracting circuit including an attracting switch is in parallel with the attraction holding circuit. The attracting switch is closed only when the attraction phase of value opening is to be accomplished. In one modification the series circuit of the attracting switch and the electromagnetic valve circuit is coupled in parallel to a circuit formed by a hazard detecting switch, and a relay switch operating coil. In another modification a time limit current control is connected in series with the valve coil to control the supply of current to the coil for a predetermined time limit.

  • Patent number: 4098069
Abstract: The digital clock includes a switch which undergoes a first operation at a first time and a second operation, representing a resetting operation, at a second time, the first and the second time being preset on a timer of the digital clock by utilizing a conventional clock mechanism contained in the digital clock. A manually operable device is provided for enabling a manual operation of the switch prior to the occurrence of the first and the second times. Additionally, a device is provided which is operable, responsive to the occurrence of the first time, for resetting the condition of the switch resulting from any manual operation thereof and for disabling a further manual operation thereof, so as to cause the switch to operate in accordance with the time schedule determined by the timer.

  • Patent number: 4059253
Abstract: Hot steel slabs are cooled in upright, edge-on state between respective pairs of adjacent cooling walls, each of which comprises a row of intercommunicating boiler tubes conducting cooling water and constituting one component of a circulatory heat recovery system. As the slabs cool, heat is transferred therefrom principally by radiation to the cooling walls, in which the cooling water is turned into a mixture of steam and hot water. A slab handling system comprising roller conveyers, slab uprighting and tilting devices, and a tong crane for picking up and lowering slabs is provided.

  • Patent number: 3957111
Abstract: A metal cooling wall surrounds a conveyor carrying solids such as steel slabs at high temperature through the chamber defined by the cooling wall and the wall receives heat from the slabs by radiation. A liquid such as water flowing under pressure within passages within the cooling wall removes heat from the cooling wall with the control of coolant temperature controlling the cooling speed of the solids. A gas such as water vapor or carbon dioxide gas having the absorbing ability of the radiation fills the space between the slabs and the cooling wall to further control the cooling speed of the steel billets.
