  • Patent number: 7166330
Abstract: A method for forming a glittering coating film in which after a glittering base coating film is formed on a substrate to be coated by applying thereto a glittering base coating material containing a colloid particle liquid containing noble metal or copper colloid particles, the glittering base coating film is heated or set, and then a clear coating film is formed. By the method, a glittering coating film is provided which has weathering resistance and high gloss, and develops a metal feeling or a coloring metal feeling giving rise to a less feeling of metal particles than by the plating-tone coating film, and superior in design property.

  • Publication number: 20060057363
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for forming a glittering coating film in which after a glittering base coating film is formed on a substrate to be coated by applying thereto a glittering base coating material containing a colloid particle liquid containing noble metal or copper colloid particles, said glittering base coating film is heated or set, and then a clear coating film is formed by executing any one of the following processes (A) to (F). By the method, a glittering coating film is provided which has weathering resistance and high gloss, and develops a metal feeling or a coloring metal feeling giving rise to a less feeling of metal particles than by the plating-tone coating film, and superior in design property.

  • Patent number: 5416832
Abstract: A call detection control apparatus includes individual call detecting circuits, a common call detecting circuit, switching circuits, and a power supply circuit. The individual call detecting circuits individually detect call signals, which originate from telephone subscriber lines. The common call detecting circuit commonly detects call signals, which originate from the respective telephone subscriber lines. The switching circuits switch the respective telephone subscriber lines from the common call detecting circuit to the respective individual call detecting circuit when the common call detecting circuit detects an call signal from one of the respective telephone subscriber lines. The power supply circuit supplies operating power to each of the individual call detecting circuits upon interlocking with an operation of a corresponding one of the switching circuits.

  • Patent number: 5296523
Abstract: This invention relates to an inorganic colorant, to a paste made from that colorant by dispersing that colorant into a vehicle, and to a water based paint made using either these colorants or pastes. This invention involves an improvement of the dispersibility of the inorganic colorant into a dispersion medium by which that inorganic colorant, having polar groups on its surface, is treated by low temperature plasma polymerization of a substantially non-polar monomer to form a non-polar group on the surface of the inorganic colorant. The inorganic colorants, to which this invention is applied to improve their dispersibility, are of a wide variety of species. According to the invention, due to the great improvement in the dispersibility of the inorganic colorants, the possible range of formulation of inorganic colorant and the dispersion medium is enlarged.

  • Patent number: 5227421
Abstract: A resin having both an acidic and a basic functional group is dissolved in an aqueous medium by neutralizing the acidic functional group with a basic compound and a pigment is dispersed in the aqueous medium by the action of the resin. To improve the dispersibility of the pigment and dispersion stability and coated film performance, a pK.sub.b value of the basic functional group of the resin is equal to or less than a pK.sub.b value of the basic compound.

  • Patent number: 5108011
Abstract: An adhesive injector has a piston inserted in a cylinder which is forwardly movable therein by a compressive force, the cylinder having a nozzle projecting from a front end portion thereof. The injector includes: a pair of holes defined adjacent each other in a rear end portion of the cylinder, a slit formed in the cylinder between the holes, a pin insertable through the holes, and cutout portions formed in the piston for engagement with the pin.
