  • Publication number: 20170126920
Abstract: An electronics device comprising includes: a housing; a cover attached to the housing to be movable between an open position and a closed position; a signal outputter provided to one of the housing or the cover, and outputting a first signal; a communication unit provided to an other one of the housing or the cover, and detecting a signal having a predetermined frequency and performing wireless communication with an external device, using the predetermined frequency; and a controller determining whether the cover is either in the open position or the closed position, based on detection of the first signal.

  • Patent number: 7830536
Abstract: In a print system including a printer connected to a plurality of personal computers, the personal computer to which a lock command is inputted by a user outputs an ID code of the personal computer and a lock signal to the printer. The printer memorizes the ID code of the personal computer into a memory and goes into an unprintable state. When a lock release command is inputted to the personal computer, it outputs the ID code and a lock release signal to the printer. When the received ID code coincides with the ID code memorized in the memory, the printer goes into a printable state and accepts an image data outputted from the personal computer and performs a printing operation using the image data. Thus, the print system can prevent that the image is printed on an undesirable recording paper sheet for the user.

  • Patent number: 7580056
Abstract: It is aimed to provide a small and lightweight digital still camera capable of reducing the possibility of moving the digital still camera while an image is taken due to an operation for pressing a shutter switch by a user. Thus, a single-stage switch which is turned on when the user presses up to a predetermined stroke with his/her finger and is turned off when the user takes his/her finger off is used as the shutter switch. In the normal imaging mode, in a state where the shutter switch is turned on by the user, an image for monitoring is taken at a predetermined interval and the image is displayed on the display device as an electronic view finder using image data output from the imaging device. When the shutter switch is turned off, an image for recording is taken, the obtained image data is recorded in the memory card and the taken image is displayed on the display device using the image data.

  • Patent number: 7016067
Abstract: Disclosed is an image output apparatus having an image reading section, an image storing section for storing image data read by the image reading section, and an image output section for outputting an image corresponding to a document on the basis of the image data stored in the image storing section. The apparatus further includes an index recognizing circuit for image-recognizing index information on an index sheet when the index sheet is read by the image reading section, and an index registering circuit for registering the recognized index information and storage area designation information for designating a storage area in the image storing section, associated with each other. The image data representing the document which has been read by the image reading section subsequently to the index sheet is stored in a storage area, in the image storing section, to be designated by the storage area designation information associated with the index information.

  • Patent number: 7004653
Abstract: A printer equipped with a copy function is capable of carrying out a two-set double-sided printing, using a series of printing papers, each of which has a printed content on one side and a blank page on the other side. With the aid of a built-in processing unit, such a series of the printing papers are regarded as serial pairs of two adjacent printing papers, and an image on one side of each printing paper is read by an image sensor, and then copied on the other side of the printing paper adjacent thereto. When the number of all the printing papers is odd, an image read on one side from the last printing paper is copied on one side of a supplementary paper sheet. When the total number n of the printing papers initially read out is even, printing paper are sequentially fed to said image printer, and printing papers, each of which is placed on a paper feed tray for printing in such a manner that its blank page on the other side is printable, are received in the order of reading by the image printer.

Thus, by the simple operation of rejecting acceptance of a print command outputted from another user, it can prevent that the image is printed on an undesirable recording paper sheet for the user.
