  • Patent number: 11831040
Abstract: The safety of an assembled battery is improved. An insulating sheet 10 is to be interposed between battery cells 20 having planar surfaces 34 facing each other and is formed of a resin composition containing an inorganic filler. An assembled battery 50 includes a plurality of battery cells 20 having planar surfaces 34 and the insulating sheet 10. The insulating sheet 10 is interposed in at least one facing section 36 of the plurality of battery cells 20 whose planar surfaces 34 are arranged to face each other.

  • Publication number: 20210328291
Abstract: A high-quality battery pack is efficiently produced without using any potting material. A battery cover sheet 10 is a sheet member formed of a resin composition containing an inorganic filler, and has flexibility enough to cover, along the shape of the outer surface of a battery (such as a cylindrical lithium-ion battery 20A), at least partially the outer surface. For example, of the outer surface of the cylindrical lithium-ion battery 20A except for both end surfaces, the outer peripheral surface is covered with the battery cover sheet 10 and a seam 10a is fixed with a fixing member such as an adhesive tape 11, to thereby form a sheet-covered battery 30A. In this case, the battery cover sheet 10 forms a battery holder.

  • Publication number: 20210320365
Abstract: Provided are a battery holder that enables efficient production of a high-quality battery pack, and a battery pack using the battery holder. A battery holder 10 at least includes a tubular body having a through-space (battery-housing portion 10a) for housing a battery such as a lithium-ion battery 20. This tubular body includes a fibrous substrate 11 and a resin composition 12 containing an inorganic filler.

  • Publication number: 20200365843
Abstract: Provided are a battery holder that enables efficient production of a battery pack of excellent quality, and a battery pack using the battery holder. A battery holder 10 includes at least a tubular body having a through-space (battery storage portion 10a) for storing a battery, such as a lithium-ion battery 20, inside. This tubular body is formed of a resin composition containing an inorganic filler.

  • Publication number: 20020167107
Abstract: Granulated hydrophilic resins are manufactured by: an extrusion step to melt and extrude a hydrophilic resin; a cooling step to obtain a solidified resin by solidifying with cooling thus extruded resin through the contact with a metal plate; and a granulating step to obtain a granulated hydrophilic resin by the granulation of thus solidified resin. The resulting granulated hydrophilic resins can be used for the extrusion molding and the like.

  • Patent number: 5918413
Abstract: The present invention is characterized by coating a seed with from 0.1 to 25% by weight of a powder (A) composed of one or both of montmorillonite and bentonite and having an average particle diameter of 30 .mu.m or less and from 99.9 to 75% by weight of a powder (B) composed of a material other than montmorillonite and bentonite and having an average particle diameter of at least 10 .mu.m and at most 30 .mu.m using a polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution having an aqueous solution viscosity at 25.degree. C. of 50 mPa.multidot.s or less as a binder. Consequently, a coated seed obtained by coating a seed, especially a light-favoured seed, easily absorbs water in sowing and is easily cracked in absorbing water. Further, the easy cracking thereof remains unchanged with the course of time. In the coating, formation of by-product seedless spherical pellets is little observed.
