  • Patent number: 8646508
Abstract: A label peeling machine is configured to one by one peel adhesive labels of a non-liner label having a number of adhesive labels stuck continuously so as to be overlapped while being shifted by a predetermined width. The non-liner label wound and held on a reel is placed on a carrier belt entrained about a first driven shaft, a second driven shaft, and a third driven shaft and is moved forward or backward. The label peeling machine includes a first sensor for causing the carrier belt to move backward, a second sensor for stopping the carrier belt, a peeling claw for engaging the non-liner label moving upward along the drive belt and peel the adhesive labels one by one, and a control apparatus configured to control a switch, the first sensor and the second sensor.

  • Publication number: 20100218904
Abstract: A functional tag applicator permitting stable attachment of functional tags is offered. The applicator includes a tag support mechanism for supporting the peeled functional tag. The tag support mechanism has a sliding member and a pair of left and right functional tag support members. The sliding member slides in an up-and-down direction when a control handle is operated. The tag support members are opened and closed in response to vertical motion of the sliding member. The tag support members have, at their lower ends, support portions for supporting the tag. The tag peeled off from the tape by a peeling member is supplied to the support portions of the functional tag support members. Downward motion of the sliding member spreads apart the tag support members, releasing the tag. Pressure is applied on the upper surface of the tag, so that the tag is stuck.

  • Publication number: 20100065222
Abstract: A hand labeler having a peel member and a peel roller on the front-end side of the peel member to feed out label smoothly. The peel roller is used to peel off the label. The peel roller is made of a pipe having a diameter smaller than the thickness of a front-end portion of the peel member. The peel roller is rotatably pivoted to a shaft, which is mounted on the front-end side of the peel member with a given space therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20030183343
Abstract: In order to use a length of tape having no liner on its rear side, a hand labeler includes a tape-feeding mechanism having a rotary drum for making the length of tape advance a predetermined length; and a tape peeling-off mechanism for forcedly unrolling the tape roll against its adhesive power. The peeling-off mechanism is placed between the tape holder section and the rotary drum of the tape-feeding mechanism, and it comprises a peeling-off drum ganged with the rotary drum of the tape-feeding mechanism and a tape-feeding roll or rolls freely rotatable to cooperate with the circumference of the peeling-off drum for gripping the length of tape.

  • Publication number: 20020148556
Abstract: Disclosed is a hand labeler having: a printer mechanism responsive to the gripping of the handle for printing pieces of information on one side of a continuous narrow length such as a length of tape; a feeding mechanism for feeding the continuous narrow length a predetermined distance in a given direction; and a cutter mechanism for cutting the so fed part of continuous narrow length when the handle is released to allow it to return to its stress-free position; and applying means for applying an adhesive agent such as glue to the other side of the so fed part of continuous narrow length. The continuous narrow length has no liner applied on the other side.

  • Patent number: 6311753
Abstract: Disclosed is a label printing-and-applying device including a label feeding mechanism and an impression unit so operatively connected that a roll of blank label bearing tape is unrolled intermittently every time the opposite grips of the device are squeezed to allow the impression unit to print a desired letter or pattern on blank labels one after another subsequent to peeling-off of such blank labels from the tape, and that the so printed labels are applied to objects. It further includes a printing pressure controlling mechanism for controlling the impression pressure in printing a selected letter or pattern on blank labels.

  • Patent number: 5423470
Abstract: Disclosed is an improved hand instrument for driving staples in the form of small bits of string into sheets of soft material comprising a handgun-like body composed of a grip having a hand-operated lever fixed therein and a string ejection barrel having a hollow needle fixed at its outlet end and a slidable push rod fixed therein. The hand-operated lever is so operatively connected to the push rod that the push rod is driven and inserted in the hollow needle to eject small bits of string one after another from the hollow needle every time the hand-operated lever is pressed. The hand instrument uses a composite resilient mechanism to permit application to the hand-operated lever a fixed value of return force, thereby assuring that the hand-operated lever is used by applying a fixed value of pressing force thereto, and that one does not get much tired after using the stapler many hundred times without intermission.

  • Patent number: 4986874
Abstract: A hand-labeler for automatically and consecutively removing discrete labels from a label-carrying tape and putting each label on an object. In order to permit automatic adjustment of an intermittent feeding length to meet a particular label size and inter-label space, the labeler uses a swingable feeler and a lever stop operatively connected to the feeler to cause the lever stop to tilt upon collision of the feeler against the forward end of each discrete label, thereby stopping the label-carrying tape feeder after feeding each interval length in conformity with the label size plus inter-label space.
