  • Patent number: 11879687
Abstract: Provided is a method of designing a heat exchanger group being installed in a processing plant and having multiple ACHEs. In a first step, at least one design variable relating to ACHE design and the number of installed ACHEs are set as variable parameters, and a variable range and a change unit of each of the variable parameters are set. In a second step, a design value of the ACHE, which includes a value of a design variable non-selected as the variable parameter, is set. In a third step, Pareto solutions for at least two objective functions selected from an objective function group consisting of an installation length of the heat exchanger group, a total heat transfer area of heat transfer tubes, and total power consumption of fans are calculated by using a computer while the variable parameter are changed.

  • Publication number: 20230058589
Abstract: For device groups (3) each including devices (31) included in a processing plant (1) processing fluid and each having an occupied area (30) set therefor, connection information representing two specific device groups (3) are connected and paired via a pipe (4) and pipe information required for calculating use amount of a pipe material are set. Then, a first step, including arranging the device groups (3) in an installation area (10) of the processing plant (1) so that an outer edge of the occupied area (30) and a long side of a pipe-rack arrangement area (20) contact with each other, and a second step, including calculating a total use amount of the pipe material of the pipe (4) supported by a pipe rack (21, 22, 23), are repeated. From results obtained by changing the arrangement of the device groups (3), arrangements having small total use amounts of pipe materials are selected.

  • Patent number: 6327482
Abstract: A mobile radio apparatus of the present invention includes an apparatus body having a connector portion at one side thereof. A main display is mounted on the apparatus body. An auxiliary display includes a terminal portion and is removably connected to the side of the apparatus body with the terminal portion mating with the connector portion of the apparatus body. The auxiliary display connected to the apparatus body assists the main display in displaying data at the time of, e.g., transmission or receipt. When the apparatus is carried by the user, the auxiliary display is dismounted from the apparatus body. The apparatus therefore achieves a great display capacity without being increased in size.

  • Patent number: 5535249
Abstract: In detection of a frequency error of a local frequency for quadrature demodulation of a received signal by sampling (S2) each burst of the received signal by a sampling signal at a sampling period into a predetermined number 2m of sampled vectors, zeroth to (2m-2)-th phase errors are calculated (S3), each phase error accompanying a phase difference which is between two adjacent ones of the sampled vectors and is constant during each burst. Zeroth to (m-1)-th averages are calculated (S4(1)) as regards m consecutive ones of the phase errors with each average calculated starting at a q-th phase error of the phase errors and with q varied between zero and (m-1), both inclusive. A mean value of these m averages is calculated (S4(2)) and is divided (S5) by a divisor comprising the sampling period. The frequency error is given by a quotient of this division. The received signal is derived by reception of a transmitted signal subjected to digital angle modulation, such as GMSK or MSK modulation.
