  • Publication number: 20230266166
Abstract: The disclosure is to provide a practical structure of a pulse spectrometer that transmits pulsed light by dividing it through a plurality of fibers for pulse stretching, and makes the divided light beams overlap in a same region on an irradiation surface. A broadband pulsed light from a pulse light source is divided according to wavelength by an arrayed waveguide grating used as a dividing element, the pulse is then correlated one-to-one between time and wavelength while being transmitted through a bundle fiber, and then emitted through an irradiation unit onto an object. The individual light beams output from the individual cores of the bundle fiber are overlapped by a first lens in a substantially same region on a first plane perpendicular to an optical axis, and an image in the first region is projected by second lenses so as to be emitted on the object.

  • Patent number: 11675247
Abstract: A stretching fiber module that stretches a pulse width of the broadband pulsed light from a broadband pulsed light source such that a time and a wavelength in a pulse correspond to each other on a one-to-one basis includes a multicore fiber and single-core compensation fibers coupled to cores of the multicore fiber. The compensation fibers compensate for a variation in wavelength dispersion characteristic between the cores of the multicore fiber and are temperature-controlled by a temperature adjuster.

  • Patent number: 11268855
Abstract: [Object] There is provided a wideband extended pulsed light source that maintains uniqueness of an elapsed time with respect to a wavelength and does not collapse the uniqueness of an elapsed time with respect to a wavelength even when an output is increased. [Solution] Light L1 from a pulsed laser source 11 is converted into supercontinuum light by a nonlinear element 12, is output as wideband pulsed light L2, and is caused to enter a pulse extension element 2. The pulse extension element 2 that is a multi-core fiber performs pulse extension in each of cores 211 and outputs wideband extended pulsed light L3. In the wideband extended pulsed light L3, an elapsed time and a wavelength in a pulse correspond to each other on one-to-one basis, and the wideband extended pulsed light L3 is used as light for spectrometry.

  • Patent number: 5683804
Abstract: An ultraviolet and infrared absorbing glass plate includes a transparent glass substrate, a first layer formed on a first major surface of the glass substrate and a second layer formed on the first layer. The first layer is an ultraviolet and infrared absorbing film prepared by hardening a primer coating solution. The primer coating solution contains a synthetic resin, a fluorescent brightening agent, an ultraviolet absorbing agent and an infrared absorbing agent. The second layer is a film of a siloxane polymer. The glass plate has an optional water-repellent layer formed on a second major surface of the glass substrate. Long-wavelength ultraviolet rays until the upper limit of its wavelength can be substantially cut by the first layer on the glass substrate. Furthermore, the first layer is superior in infrared absorption, adhesion to the glass substrate, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance and durability.

  • Patent number: 5618626
Abstract: An ultraviolet absorbing multilayer coating formed on one side of a transparent substrate includes a first layer formed on a surface of the transparent substrate and a second layer formed on the first layer. The first layer is an ultraviolet absorbing film of a hardened primer coating of a synthetic resin which is mixed with a fluorescent brightening agent and an ultraviolet absorbing agent. The second layer is a film of a siloxane polymer. An optional infrared reflecting coating is interposed between the transparent substrate and the first layer. The ultraviolet rays until the upper limit of its wavelength can be substantially absorbed by the multilayer coating.

  • Patent number: 5013788
Abstract: The invention provides a liquid coating composition for forming a transparent and hard coating film on a plastic member such as a polycarbonate or polymethyl methacrylate plate. The liquid composition comprises 100 parts by weight of an organotrialkoxysilane R.sup.1 Si(OR.sup.2).sub.3, where R.sup.1 is a C.sub.1 - or C.sub.2 -alkyl group and R.sup.2 is a C.sub.1 -, C.sub.2 - or C.sub.3 -alkyl group, 5-20 parts by weight of an organotrialkoxysilane R.sup.3 Si(OR.sup.2).sub.3, where R.sup.3 is an organic group containing epoxy group, 50-200 parts by weight of an aqueous colloidal silica sol in which the content of SiO.sub.2 is 10-40 wt %, and 0.5-3 parts by weight of a dicarboxylic acid (CF.sub.2).sub.n (COOH).sub.2, where n is an integer from 1 to 5, preferably hexafluoroglutaric acid. On a surface of a plastic member a coating film of this composition is partially cured at 70.degree.-150.degree. C. to turn into a fairly hard but still pliable film.

  • Patent number: 4900778
Abstract: The invention relates to a coating liquid composition useful to form a hard and transparent coating film on plastics. The novel liquid composition comprises a partial polycondensation product of a trialkoxysilane R.sup.1 Si(OR.sup.2).sub.3, wherein R.sup.1 is a C.sub.1 or C.sub.2 alkyl group and R.sup.2 is a C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl group, a colloidal silica, water, an aliphatic lower alcohol and anhydride of a polybasic carboxylic acid having a cyclic structure. The content of the acid anhydride must be at least 0.005 wt % when pH of the coating liquid composition is adjusted to 6.0-7.0. The primary merit of using such an acid anhydride is improved storage stability of the coating liquid composition.
