  • Patent number: 8295353
Abstract: An image encoding control method for controlling processing for encoding data of an input moving image based on an interlace system comprises: a step of determining whether or not a chrominance-component motion vector generated based on the luminance-component motion specifies a reference prohibition region preset at least one of outside an upper boundary and outside a lower boundary of the reference image, for each combination of a field type of the region to be encoded and the field type of the reference image; and a step of prohibiting, when the chrominance-component motion vector generated based on the luminance-component motion vector specifies the reference prohibition region, the luminance-component motion vector from being output as a motion vector specifying a region that is most similar to the region to be encoded.

  • Patent number: 7583978
Abstract: A mobile terminal is carried by a moving object, and the mobile station is configured to perform wireless communications with a base terminal from among a plurality of base stations. The mobile station acquires a communication status between itself and at least a first base station and a second base station from among the plurality of base stations. The mobile station performs wireless communications with a base station from among the first base station and the second base station of which the communication status satisfies a communication condition that is most distant.

  • Patent number: 7466967
Abstract: A communication system that can improve communication quality by accurately re-creating reproduction timing at the receiving end even at the time of receiving VBR data or in the case of the occurrence of a packet loss. A send rate recognition section recognizes a send rate from a time stamp. A memory stores data. A dummy data addition section adds dummy data for correcting the difference between a read rate set for reading out data from the memory and the send rate to the data written to the memory. A read clock generation section generates a read clock which is equal to the read rate. A dummy data removal section removes the dummy data from the data read out from the memory on the basis of the read clock.
