  • Patent number: 11885548
Abstract: A refrigeration cycle apparatus includes: a refrigeration cycle circuit in which a compressor, a condenser, a first expansion valve, and an evaporator are connected by refrigerant pipes; an injection pipe having a refrigerant inflow side end and a refrigerant outflow side end, the refrigerant inflow side being connected between the condenser and the first expansion valve, the refrigerant outflow side end being connected to a suction side of the compressor; a second expansion valve provided at the injection pipe; and a controller that controls a rotation speed of the compressor and an opening degree of the second expansion valve. In the case of reducing a heat-exchange capability of the evaporator when the rotation speed of the compressor is a specified rotation speed, the controller performs a low load operation during which refrigeration is caused to flow through the injection pipe.

  • Publication number: 20230152185
Abstract: A compressor system includes a compressor including a bearing supporting a rotating shaft; a sensor configured to measure an index value correlated with a movement of the rotating shaft being made while the compressor is in operation; and a wear-detecting unit configured to detect a degree of wear of the bearing based on a measured value obtained by the sensor. The bearing is a plain bearing, and has a plurality of air gaps arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction such that wear of the bearing changes a positional relationship between an inner circumferential surface of the bearing and the plurality of air gaps and eventually changes a shape of the inner circumferential surface thereof. The wear-detecting unit detects the degree of wear of the bearing based on a change in the measured value caused by a change in the shape of the inner circumferential surface of the bearing.

  • Publication number: 20200347846
Abstract: A compressor includes: a shell; a compressing mechanism provided in the shell, and having a compression chamber where refrigerant is compressed and a discharge port from which the refrigerant compressed in the compression chamber is discharged; and a discharge-valve mechanism provided in a discharge chamber provided between the shell and the compressing mechanism. The discharge-valve mechanism opens and closes the discharge port. The discharge-valve mechanism includes: a valve seat attached to the compressing mechanism and having a valve-seat hole communicating with the discharge port; and a reed valve having a fixed end attached to the compressing mechanism and a distal end as a free end. The reed valve closes the valve seat when the reed valve is located on the valve seat. The valve seat is formed of material having a longitudinal elastic modulus lower than a longitudinal elastic modulus of the compressing mechanism.
