  • Publication number: 20060263499
Abstract: Water is slowly added to dry grain having a water content previously adjusted to 10% to 15% at a water addition rate of 0.5% to 2.0%/h, in order to provide a water content of 20% to 30%, and thereafter, the grain is placed into a tank, followed by tempering for 2 to 15 hours.

  • Patent number: 7008662
Abstract: Warm and wet air are applied to brown rice with germinated germs, produced by adding water to the brown rice, for removing water attached to a surface of the rice. A surface of the germinated brown rice is polished by a rice-polishing machine while remaining the germinated germs to obtain rice with germinated germs. Water of about 1 to 10% of rice weight is added to soften the rice surface. The rice and granules whose granule size is set to a constant granule size smaller than that of the rice and which is heated to 60° C. or higher are mixed with the rice and stirred. Rice bran remaining on a rice surface after polishing is absorbed by the granules and is removed. And, the rice and granules are separated from each other.

  • Publication number: 20020011155
Abstract: A husking apparatus supplies cereal grains between a pair of rotating rubber rolls through a guiding chute, rubs and husks them. A roll diameter marker for indicating an abrasion degree of the diameter of one of the rubber rolls is provided near the minimum gap between the rubber rolls. An incline angle changing marker previously marked with a changing degree of a position or an angle of incline of the guiding chute in correspondence to the roll diameter marker is provided near the lower end of the guiding chute. An operator can readily detect the diameter of the rubber roll by means of the roll diameter marker and accurately set the position or the angle of incline of the guiding chute in accordance with the incline angle changing marker.

  • Publication number: 20020008056
Abstract: A reciprocating axis of the ejector is born in a non-sliding state by permanent magnets on the reciprocating axis and permanent magnets surrounding the reciprocating axis. The reciprocating axis linearly projects out and retracts by the reciprocating components which cause the reciprocating axis to reciprocate by the driving signals from the driver circuit. A slanted surface is provided at the foremost end of the reciprocating axis. When the granular objects to be ejected flow-in continuously, the projecting-out action takes place correspondingly with the leading granular object to be ejected and, after the following granular object(s) to be ejected has been ejected, the retracting action takes place.

  • Publication number: 20010002655
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a rotary shaking separator, which can maintain a constant separating accuracy without any failure in separation which might possibly occur in the same separating vessel, and which is not required to have a rotary shaft inserted though a central portion of the separating vessel.

  • Patent number: 6046033
Abstract: A protein is provided derived from human fibroblast having an N-terminal amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NOS: 1 and 2, having a molecular weight of approximately 15kD under reducing and non-reducing conditions by (dosium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis), and having an activity to stimulate growth of osteoblast. The protein is produced by gene engineering procedures, contains the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 9 and has osteoblast growth activity. Also provided is a method for preparing the protein by culturing human fibroblast and treating the conditioned medium for purification. The protein is utilized for the treatment of diseases characterized by decreased bone mass such as osteoporosis or is utilized as an antigen for immunological diagnosis of diseases.
