  • Patent number: 10553155
Abstract: A current limiting circuit is used in a display device which includes a display panel having pixels each of which includes a light emitting element and a panel power source which supplies an application voltage to be applied to each of the light emitting elements included in the pixels. The current limiting circuit detects a supply current supplied from the panel power source to the display panel, and reduces the application voltage when a value of the supply current detected is greater than a threshold.

  • Patent number: 10460657
Abstract: An EL display device includes a display screen; a first gate signal line; a second gate signal line; gate driver ICs (circuits); a current generating circuit which supplies a current to EL elements; a current amount obtaining circuit which obtains a magnitude of a current flowing through a plurality of pixels; and an on-voltage generating circuit which generates a control voltage output by the gate driver IC (circuit) to the first gate signal line. Each of the pixels includes a first switching transistor. The control voltage is a voltage which causes the first switching transistor to be in a conducting state. The on-voltage generating circuit varies a first control voltage based on an output result from the current amount obtaining circuit.

  • Patent number: 9953570
Abstract: A display device is provided that includes a plurality of pixel circuits that are arranged in a matrix and supplied with power through a first power supply line maintained at a first voltage and a second power supply line maintained at a second voltage having a positive value less than the first voltage. The display device also includes a first power supply circuit of a synchronous rectification type that outputs the first voltage to the first power supply line by chopping an input voltage. The display device further includes a second power supply circuit of the synchronous rectification type that outputs the second voltage to the second power supply line by chopping the first voltage.

  • Patent number: 7215085
Abstract: A plasma display device which includes sustain circuit boards containing switching element-switching element. Respective sustain circuit boards are provided with a first wiring pattern for driving current, and a second wiring pattern in which the driving current proceeds in a direction that is opposite to that in the first wiring pattern. The above-described structure reduces parasitic inductance, and the voltage waveform to be applied on the plasma display device's panel will have reduced ringing phenomenon.

Abstract: A plasma display device which includes sustain circuit boards (32), (33) containing switching element (36)-switching element (39). Respective sustain circuit boards (32), (33) are provided with a first wiring pattern for driving current, and a second wiring pattern in which the driving current proceeds in a direction that is opposite to that in the first wiring pattern. The above-described structure reduces parasitic inductance, and the voltage waveform to be applied on the plasma display device's panel will have reduced ringing phenomenon.
