  • Patent number: 10252361
Abstract: This cylindrical cutter for skiving comprises a plurality of cutting edge parts in the circumferential direction by having tooth grooves be formed between circumferentially adjoining cutting edge parts with the tooth grooves being formed into a helical shape twisting in the axial direction. Cutting edge grooves are each formed in the cutting edge parts so as to divide the cutting edge parts into multiple sections in the length direction of the tooth grooves.

  • Patent number: 9868169
Abstract: This gear cutting machine, which is equipped with a cutter (15), a cutter spindle motor (11) that causes, via a crank mechanism (13) and a cutter spindle (16), the cutter (15) perform a stroke operation, and a motor control unit (10) that controls the rotation angle of the cutter spindle motor (11), is provided with a relieving spindle motor (12) that causes the cutter (15) to move in the direction of a relieving spindle via a link mechanism (four-joint link mechanism (14)). The motor control unit (10) controls the rotation angle of the relieving spindle motor (12) on the basis of the rotation angle of the cutter spindle motor (11). Consequently, a gear cutting machine that accurately controls the relieving operation in accordance with a desired shape, such as crowning and tapering of a gear to be cut can be provided.

  • Patent number: 9511477
Abstract: Provided is a gear grinding machine which can dress a grinding stone while a gear is held attached to the machine regardless of the size of the gear. To this end, the gear grinding machine (1) engages and mutually rotates a work (W) and the grinding stone (17) to thereby grind the work (W), wherein the gear grinding machine is equipped with a turning table (22) which holds the work (W) and rotates around a work rotating shaft (C), and a pivot table (31) which is pivotably supported around the work rotating shaft (C); and a dresser (40) which is capable of dressing the grinding stone (17) is provided on the pivot table (31), the pivot table (31) being pivoted to move the dresser (40) between a dressing position (D1) and a retreat position (D2).

  • Patent number: 8463575
Abstract: Based on a left tooth surface (28) having a maximum accumulated pitch error ALmax (when clockwise direction is a positive direction) and a right tooth surface (29) having a minimum accumulated pitch error ARmin (when clockwise direction is a positive direction), which are conceived to most likely have insufficiently ground portions, a correction value ?? which cancels these accumulated pitch errors for suppressing the accumulated pitch error after grinding is obtained. A reference tooth groove angle ?0 is corrected by the correction value ??, thereby obtaining the meshing angle ? of the work gear. All teeth detection and signal processing in a short period of time is realized by using a displacement sensor and a high-speed meshing-dedicated circuit board.
