    Abstract: The present invention relates to 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer compositions. Specifically, the present invention relates to adhesive compositions comprising the 4-methyl-1-pentene polymers used in bonding a 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer layer and a polar-group-containing resin layer, and laminates obtained by using such compositions. The 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer compositions as these adhesive compositions comprise a 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer (A); and a modified polyolefin resin (B) comprising a mixture of an unsaturated carboxylic acid-modified a-olefin polymer (B-1) whose &agr;-olefin is selected from a group of propylene, butene-1 and 4-methyl-1-pentene and an unsaturated carboxylic acid-modified ethylene-&agr;-olefin copolymer (B-2). In these compositions, an unsaturated carboxylic acid-modified 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer (A′) showing a particular modification rate and a particular melt flow rate may be used in place of (A) and (B-1).

    Abstract: The present invention relates to 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer compositions.     Abstract: The higher .alpha.-olefin copolymer of the invention is a copolymer of specific higher .alpha.-olefin, specific .alpha.,.omega.-diene and specific non-conjugated diene, and this copolymer has a specific molar ratio of the higher .alpha.-olefin to the .alpha.,.omega.-diene, a specific content of the non-conjugated diene and a specific intrinsic viscosity. This higher .alpha.-olefin copolymer can be prepared using a catalyst for olefin polymerization formed from a specific solid titanium catalyst component, an organometallic compound catalyst component and an electron donor catalyst component. The vibration-insulating rubber molded product of the invention is formed from a vulcanized product of the above-mentioned copolymer.

    Abstract: The ethylene/.alpha.-olefin/7-methyl-1,6-octadiene copolymer rubber of the invention is a random copolymer rubber prepared using a Group IVB transition metal type catalyst containing a specific zirconium catalyst component, and in this copolymer rubber, a molar ratio of ethylene to .alpha.-olefin, a diene content, an intrinsic viscosity [.eta.], an intensity ratio D of T.alpha..beta. to T.alpha..alpha. in a .sup.13 C-NMR spectrum of said copolymer rubber, a B value which is a measure of distribution of each monomer and a glass transition temperature are all within specific ranges. The rubber composition of the invention comprises the above-mentioned random copolymer rubber and a conjugated diene rubber. The random copolymer rubber has high stereoregularity, narrow composition distribution and excellent low-temperature flexibility, and shows extremely high covulcanizability with the conjugated diene rubber.
