  • Patent number: 4530532
Abstract: An indoor unlatching device for latch device of a refrigeration chamber door, comprising an operation rod extending through a frame wall of the door and connected at its outer end to a latch support and a manipulation handle connected to the inner end of the operation rod by means of a pivot shaft and having a first contact surface and a second contact surface selectively contactable with a handle seat surface, the distance between said first contact surface and said pivot shaft being greater than the distance between said pivot shaft and said second contact surface. In the normal state, said first contact surface is held in contact with said handle seat surface to pull and hold said latch support on the outer surface of said frame wall.

  • Patent number: 4519641
Abstract: A door opening-closing apparatus for large-sized refrigerators, the apparatus having a grip seat secured to a door, and a grip, acutating lever, and latch pivotally attached to the grip seat, a push rod penetrating the door, and a latch support. The outer end of the push rod is brought into contact with one end of the actuating lever, and one end of the latch is contacted with the other end of the actuating lever. The actuating lever is pivoted by pushing against the inner end of the push rod to undo the engagement between the latch support and the other end of the latch. The push rod is disposed inclined with respect to the door, so as to be more remote from the side pillar as the push rod extends from the outer end to the inner end thereof. By this arrangement, the push rod can be advantageously disposed closer to the side pillar without any fear of collision between the push rod inner and the side pillar.

  • Patent number: 4507010
Abstract: A panel fastener having a first section to be buried in one panel and a second section to be buried in another mating panel, said first section including: a hook plate fitted to an eccentric cam rotatably provided in said first section; and a leaf spring forced in between said hook plate and said eccentric cam. The two panels are connected and fastened together by rotating said eccentric cam in order to rotate said hook plate together with said eccentric cam, and by further rotating said cam in order to allow an end hook portion of said hook plate and a pin provided in said second section to tightly engage with each other. The panel fastener comprises a means for restricting rotational angles of said eccentric cam with respect to said hook plate within a specific range. The panel fastener can reliably connect and fasten the panels together without any possibilities of failure of engagement between the hook plate and the pin due to an erroneous operation.

  • Patent number: 4499917
Abstract: A ventilator for a coldroom with pressure responsive valves wherein a first valve plate becomes free from a partition wall so as to open a first valve port when internal pressure is increased, and a second valve plate becomes free from said partition wall so as to open a second valve port when internal pressure is reduced. Electric heaters are disposed at supporting rib portions between said respective valve ports and at outer peripheral portions of said valve ports or in the vicinity of those portions, thereby to heat contact portions of said valve plates with said partition wall. The ventilator can be precisely and susceptively operated in response to changes of internal pressure without fear of malfunction due to freezing.

  • Patent number: 4480451
Abstract: A door lock unlockable from the indoor side comprises a handle device and a lock device. The handle device includes an indoor handle and an outdoor handle for operating a latch means for a door panel to a stationary frame. The lock device is operated from the outdoor side so as to be brought into and out of engagement with said indoor handle thereby to lock said indoor handle and said outdoor handle against rotation. The indoor handle is pivotally supported so as to be able to be swung towards and away from said door panel and adapted to be disengaged from said lock device by a predetermined swinging toward or away from said door panel, the engaging structure between said indoor handle and said lock device being exposed on the inner surface of said door panel. The door lock permits an easy recognition and understanding of the way to manipulate the indoor unlocking mechanism, as well as a simple and easy manipulation, thereby to ensure a prompt escape from the chamber.
