    Abstract: A monitoring method and system avoid the occurrence of waiting due to deadlock, and thereby avoid the occurrence of job delays. An information system includes a job scheduling device which receives a request, and an analyzing device which retains first information related to the exclusive relation between jobs and a load tendency of each of the jobs. The job scheduling device makes an inquiry to the analyzing device with respect to which business device the request should be transferred. The analyzing device notifies the job scheduling device of the business device to which the request should be transferred and, as needed, a standby time, and the job scheduling device transfers the request to the designated business device after standing by for the designated standby time, in case the standby time is designated, based on the notice from the analyzing device.

    Abstract: A system comprising: a server for receiving operation information from a client, performing an information process in accordance with the received operation information, and transmitting the result of the information process; and a managing device. The managing device monitors whether communication is performed between the client and the server and transmits an operation mode switching request to the server so as to switch the server operation mode to a power saving mode requiring less power consumption than the current operation mode if no communication is performed. The server receives the operation mode switching request transmitted from the managing device and switches the server operation mode to the power saving mode in accordance with the operation mode switching request.

A management server which collectively manages power control requests receives the power processing request from the client and processes the power of a server which is allocated to the user in place of the client. Also, the management server generates screen information of the server which is in process of power processing and transmits it to the client.
