  • Publication number: 20180237117
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a boat capable of obtaining a propulsion force in a discretionary direction. A boat is provided with Arneson drives which drive propellers by means of propeller shafts via universal joints, and which control the left and right directions of the propellers by means of hydraulic cylinders. Two of the Arneson drives are provided, and the Arneson drives are respectively provided to the left and right sides of a hull. The propellers are controlled in the left and right directions in a mutually independent manner.

  • Patent number: 9193431
Abstract: A ship steering device capable of steering a hull in an intended direction by correcting an unintended rotation that occurs during an oblique sailing operation regardless of the type and size of the hull. A ship steering device is provided with an elevation angle sensor for detecting the elevation angle ? of a hull, a hull speed sensor for detecting the speed V of the hull, a storage means storing the relation among the elevation angle ? of the hull, the speed V of the hull, and a correction value K, and a calculation means serving as a correction value determination means, and an operation amount by which a joystick is operated such that the hull does not turn in the state in which the hull is obliquely sailed is determined by the calculation means and used as the correction value K.

  • Patent number: 4171558
Abstract: A cutting oil composition for processing a cemented carbide skiving hob, which comprises (a) a base oil and (b) an effective amount to prevent wear of at least one additive blended therein selected from the group consisting of a metal-containing dithiophosphoric acid compound, a sulfonate, a phenate, a carboxylate and a phosphonate of an alkaline earth metal, and an alkyl- or arylphosphoric acid ester, the cutting oil composition having a viscosity at 100.degree. F. of from about 3 to about 25 centistokes. The use of the cutting oil composition can obviate the compression collapse of the edge of a tool and give finished gears of good quality.
