Publication number: 20240266622Abstract: A minute short circuit detection device that detects whether a minute short circuit has occurred in a battery unit including a positive electrode layer, an electrolyte layer, and a negative electrode layer includes: a voltage detecting unit configured to detect a voltage of the battery unit; a current detecting unit configured to detect a current flowing in the battery unit; a storage device configured to store a program; and a hardware processor. The hardware processor is configured to execute the program stored in the storage device to determine whether a minute short circuit has occurred in the battery unit on the basis of a detection result of the voltage or the current. The hardware processor determines whether the minute short circuit has occurred on the basis of the detection result of the current and a sign of a voltage applied to the battery unit in a dormant state.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 24, 2024Publication date: August 8, 2024Inventors: Takuya Taniuchi, Toshimitsu Tanaka, Makiko Takahashi, Ryo Shimizu, Kizashi Iwakiri

Patent number: 5964062Abstract: A spacer for a sealing member, such as a weather-strip, of an opening/closing member of automotive vehicle to prevent collapse of a hollow lip portion of the sealing member at corner portions thereof. The spacer may be formed cylindrically, or so as to conform to a shape of an inner surface of the hollow lip. In addition, an out wall of the spacer is segmented and formed with a bellows, or accordion-like configuration such that when the spacer, or any portion thereof, is contracted due to bending, or the like, affected segments or portions thereof at the spacer wall contract and are aligned so as to provide a substantially rigid, contiguous surface at the contraction.Type: GrantFiled: May 9, 1997Date of Patent: October 12, 1999Assignee: Kinugawa Rubber Ind. Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroshi Jinma, Toshimitsu Shimizu, Toshikatsu Haraikawa

Patent number: 5639116Abstract: An opening is defined in an upper portion of a side surface of an instrument panel, such that it is opposed to an air bag module mounted in front of a passenger's seat within the instrument panel. A tray is removably locked in the opening by a locking device. If the tray is removed from the opening, the air bag module is exposed and thus, it is possible for an operator to easily carry out the maintenance operation and the removal of the air bag module in a comfortable position without bending his body.Type: GrantFiled: April 26, 1995Date of Patent: June 17, 1997Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Toshimitsu Shimizu, Kazuo Masaki, Toru Kobayashi, Yukio Akimoto

Patent number: 5369638Abstract: A line interface incorporated in a high-speed transmission line system for transmitting and receiving one time slot of the transmission line. A speed changing circuit replaces a high-speed transmission line with n low-speed internal lines. Hence, data transmitting and receiving circuits in each internal unit operate at low speed, saving power to be consumed by the internal unit. Since the time slots which each internal unit uses are the same on all of the internal lines, a single time slot selecting circuit suffices for each internal unit, promoting efficient circuit configuration.Type: GrantFiled: January 25, 1993Date of Patent: November 29, 1994Assignee: NEC CorporationInventor: Toshimitsu Shimizu

Patent number: 5305553Abstract: A weatherstrip structure for an automotive vehicle includes a reversed U-shaped main body to define a space which is open toward an upright mounting flange provided at a vehicle body opening edge. A first grasping lip is provided in the space extending from one of side sections of the main body defining the space. A second grasping lip is further provided extending into the space from a lower end of the other of the side sections. The second lip is adapted to make a tilting movement relative to the other of the side sections so as to facilitate insertion of the mounting flange into the space. A stopper projection is provided between the second lip and the other of the side sections for limiting the tilting movement of the second lip toward the other of the side sections so as to prevent the second lip from excessively tilting toward the other of the side sections. A sponge rubber projection may be provided independently of or along with the stopper projection at an inward tip portion of the second lip.Type: GrantFiled: December 27, 1990Date of Patent: April 26, 1994Assignees: Nissan Motor Company, Limited, Kinugawa Rubber Industrial Co.
