    Abstract: The present invention is intended to provide a novel assembly for properly or accurately mounting the terminal portion of the bus bar on the terminal-accommodating portion of a body for an electric junction box without doing any harm to an electrical conduit(s) which is disposed within the electric junction box. An assembly for mounting a bus bar (1) to a body (12) for an electric junction box, comprises a hole (9) disposed in the bus bar (1), and having a burr (31) created during the hole punching process; and a projection (21) formed in the body (12), and suited for being press-fit into the hole (9), wherein the projection (21) extends beyond the burr after being press-fit into the hole (9). In this configuration, the hole (9) may serve as a basis for position determination of each terminal portion (3, 4) of the bus bar (1), and the projection (21) may serve as a basis for position determination of each terminal-accommodating portion (25) of the body (12).

The plurality of ribs are arranged at the box main body, and abuts on the integration and is deformed when the integration is mounted at the box main body so as to prevent rattling of the integration. Second ribs among the plurality of ribs, which are arranged close to the other of connection devices, are formed stiffer than first ribs arranged away from the other of connection devices farther than the first ribs.

    Abstract: A block body made of insulating synthetic resin having a terminal supporting plate in one piece therewith. A plurality of elongated ribs project on one surface of the terminal supporting plate and a rescue terminal is arranged on the other surface of the terminal supporting plate. A bus bar is mounted in the block body. A clamping portion of a booster cable can grasp both the rescue terminal and the rib at one time. The plurality of ribs are parallel to each other. The dimension of the rib is defined such that the rib is placed under compressive deformation when the rib is clamped by the clamping portion. The block body has a hole through which the rescue terminal is passed such that the rescue terminal extends along and in contact with the other surface of the terminal supporting plate.

    Abstract: For preventing incomplete lock of a terminal at lock leaves of a connection box main body, and locking the terminal smoothly and securely at the lock leaves, a terminal lock device includes a connection box main body made of insulation resin, having a surrounding wall for receiving a terminal, and a pair of flexible lock leaves in the surrounding wall. A tab of the terminal with an electric wire is structured for inserting a head of a bolt. The tab is locked at the lock leaves. The terminal is connected to a mating circuit by screwing. A cover includes projecting plates, which are respectively inserted into bending spaces for bending the lock leaves when the cover is attached at the connection box main body. A pair of wall ribs is provided adjacent to the lock leaves, and a pair of tab ribs is provided at both ends of the tab.

    Abstract: An elevator has a machineroom of a comparatively low height so designed that a sufficiently large working space necessary for inspection and maintenance work is available in the machineroom and a hoist cable can be wound round a traction sheave disposed in the machineroom at a large contact angle. The elevator has a cage provided with front and back cage-side sheaves and suspended for vertical movement in an elevator shaft, and a counterweight that moves vertically in a space behind a vertical plane containing the back wall of the cage in the elevator shaft.
