    Abstract: A filter element includes an upstream side layer structure disposed on an upstream side in a flow direction of air to be filtrated and formed of a non woven fabric formed by laminating chemical fibers, and a downstream side layer structure disposed on a downstream side in the flow direction of the air and including a plurality of layers including chemical fiber non woven fabric layers formed by laminating chemical fibers. The upstream side layer structure has a fiber density relatively smaller than that of the downstream side layer structure. The downstream side layer structure includes a natural fiber layer such as cotton layer disposed between the chemical fiber non fabric layers, and an oil is impregnated from the upstream side layer structure to the natural fiber layer in the downstream side layer structure.

    Abstract: An air cleaner element is provided which is capable of improving a dust penetrating performance (that is, capable of reducing a penetrating amount of the dust, once captured, as an amount released from a filter member due to an air flow pulsation), while maintaining dust and carbon capturing performances of a density gradient type non-woven fabric. The filter member 1 of the air cleaner element includes a first filter layer 3 formed of a non-woven fabric, and a second filter layer 4 disposed on the downstream side of the first filter layer 3 with respect to an air flow direction, and formed of a non-woven fabric having a fine mesh structure in comparison with that of the first filter layer 3. The first filter layer 3 is impregnated with an oil. The second filter layer 4 has an oil repellent property.

    Abstract: A vessel having a drain port having a shape improved for preventing formation of water film to the drain port can be provided without making large a diameter of the drain port. In a sectional plane including a center line 6 of the drain port 5, one 7 of wall section constituting the drain port is inclined with respect to another one 8 of wall sections thereof. Accordingly, water can smoothly drops down by its gravity without forming any water film due to surface tension. Furthermore, since the formation of the water film can be prevented without making large a diameter of the drain port, invasion of the water inside the vessel from the outside of the drain port 5 can be also prevented.
