    Abstract: Provided is a power storage apparatus including a battery and a control circuit that controls charging and discharging of the battery, wherein during a polarization elimination time period, the control circuit obtains, as an amount of change, a difference between a first voltage of the battery measured at a first time and a second voltage of the battery measured at a second time following the first time, multiplies the amount of change by an estimation coefficient that depends on the first voltage, the second voltage, a temperature of the battery, a temperature of a space around the battery, or a degree of deterioration of the battery, and sums the value obtained so as to estimate an open-circuit voltage to be provided after elimination of the polarization of the battery.

The step (c) is a step of estimating each interconnection length between the interconnection branching node and each of the plurality of elements. The step (d) is a step of calculating a delay timing variation based on the each interconnection length, wherein the delay timing variation is a variation of an arrival time when a signal travels from the interconnection branching node to each of the plurality of elements. The step (e) is a step of verifying whether the delay timing variation is within a design allowable range of the semiconductor integrated circuit.

Each of these tobacco feeders includes shredded tobacco reservoirs (12; 13), a deposition chute (26) receiving shredded tobacco from the reservoir through a bottom conveyor (18) and an ascending conveyor (22), and depositing the shredded tobacco, a feed roller unit (34) for delivering shredded tobacco, an acceleration roller (43) for accelerating the delivered shredded tobacco, and a jet diffuser (46) for blowing up the shredded tobacco toward a chimney (10). The chimney (10) adjoins the tobacco band in its traveling direction and inclines at an angle to the traveling direction.

    Abstract: A geomagnetic direction sensor has a plurality of magnetic cores for converging terrestrial magnetism arranged circumferentially with pre-set gaps, and magneto-resistive effect devices in the gaps so as to lie substantially at right angles to the direction of the magnetic field in the gaps. The geomagnetic direction sensor has at least a pair of magneto-resistive effect devices lying substantially at right angles to each other. The magnetic core is formed of a magnetic material having soft magnetic properties. The current is supplied to the excitation coils placed around the magnetic core for applying a bias magnetic field to the magneto-resistive effect devices. Another set of magneto-resistive effect devices are connected in series with the magneto-resistive effect devices arranged within the gap so as to be substantially parallel to the direction of the magnetic field.

Preferably, hub is made of material having higher elasticity than main body, and both are integral, i.e., injection molded in intimate contact.Stretched surface recording (SSR) disks can be made with this hub design.
