  • Publication number: 20140152379
Abstract: There is provided a capacitor with a reduced layout area. A capacitor has an electrode EL1 formed by using a first polysilicon layer, an electrode EL2 formed by using a second polysilicon layer over the first polysilicon layer, and electrodes EL3 to EL6 formed by using second through fifth metal wiring layers over the second polysilicon layer. An N-type well and the electrode EL1 make up a capacitor element 11, the electrodes EL1, EL2 make up a capacitor element 12, and the electrodes EL3 to EL6 make up a capacitor element 13. The capacitor elements 11 to 13 are coupled in parallel between terminals T1, T2.

  • Patent number: 7988222
Abstract: A vehicle body panel structure, wherein an inner panel is disposed on the inner surface of an outer panel and a reinforcing inner panel is disposed on the inner surface of the inner panel. A plurality of recesses and projections forming a wave shape in cross section are formed on the inner panel and the reinforcing inner panel in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body. These panels are joined to each other so that a closed cross section is formed of the inner panel and the reinforcing inner panel at the lower part of a joined part between the outer panel and the inner panel and a closed cross section is formed of the outer panel and the inner panel at the upper part of a joined part between the inner panel and the reinforcing inner panel. Accordingly, even if a head part moving distance is small, an HIC value can be lowered and uniformized at those portions other than an impact portion.

  • Patent number: 7150496
Abstract: A hood structure comprises an outer and an inner which form a closed cross section through spaces. The inner's cross-sectional shape is a sine curve, an nth-power-raised sine curve, or a spline curve having a corrugation length approximate to an outside head diameter. This corrugated hood structure can provide a uniform, excellent head impact resistance independently of impact positions on the hood. The corrugated hood structure also excels in tension rigidity, bending rigidity, and torsional rigidity. Accordingly, the car body hood panel structure satisfies requirements of head impact resistances for pedestrian protection and rigidity improvement such as the tension rigidity.

  • Patent number: 5886852
Abstract: A disk drive apparatus includes a spindle motor which has a rotatable hub. The hub has an annular flange. A magnetic disk is fitted on the hub and urged against the flange by a clamp with a predetermined fixing force. A buffer member is interposed between the magnetic disk and the engagement portion. The buffer member has a thermal expansion coefficient which is substantially a intermediate value between thermal expansion coefficients of the magnetic disk medium and the engagement portion. A difference between the thermal expansion coefficients of the magnetic disk and the engagement member is larger than 10.times.10.sup.-6 ?1/.degree. C!.

  • Patent number: 4327583
Abstract: A weather forecasting device comprises a pair of contacts disposed a predetermined distance apart from each other and a switch plate disposed between the contacts. The switch plate is movable between the contacts in response to changes in atmospheric pressure and the manner of contact between the switch plate and the two contacts is used to detect the direction and amount of change in atmospheric pressure. On the basis of the results of such detection, probable weather changes are successively forecasted.

  • Patent number: 4231137
Abstract: A clasp is designed to be attached to an annular personal ornament or furnishing, such as a necklace or bracelet, to form a portion of the same. The clasp comprises two metallic parts of substantially the same shape adapted to be coupled together by the combined action of magnetic attraction and mechanical engagement, enabling the person to put on and off the ornament or furnishing with great ease. The clasp will resist tension, which is the most frequent force acting thereon during use, by the coupling force provided by the mechanical engagement, so that it will never decouple of itself.
