  • Patent number: 12163575
Abstract: A ball screw in which a nut and a male-threaded shaft provided with an arcuate continuous groove threadedly engage by way of a multiplicity of steel spheres inserted between the male threads and female threads, the end portion seal member is capable of being attached toward a front or toward a back from said nut, and has a support frame body arranged at an outside circumference of said male-threaded shaft; a base fabric portion, a back surface of which is secured to an inside circumferential surface of said support frame body; and the cut pile that protrudes in such fashion as to be directed toward said groove from a front surface of said base fabric portion; wherein fiber tip portions of said cut pile are bent and made to abut said groove so as to occlude a gap between said groove and said support body, and good lubricant is retained.

  • Patent number: 7499764
Abstract: The purpose is to solve target problems in short calculation time certainly without describing algorithms that are data procedures on computers. As the solution method, because it is configured so that, when the initial values or variation values, which are used for constraint conditions with regard to target problems and the relevant constraint conditions, are set through Variable Value Setting 2, then Constraint Condition Extraction 3 extracts constraint conditions that are related to those variables, then Constraint Condition Calculation 4 searches for the solutions for each constraint condition one by one, and Variable Value Resetting repeats searching for the solutions for each constraint condition setting these searched solutions as new variables, so the course of solution searching becomes clear, and it becomes possible to surely reach the final solution and dramatically speed up computing, because each markedly simplified constraint condition has only to be solved.

  • Patent number: 7124025
Abstract: A vehicular navigation device includes a control circuit to designate a route to a destination from a start point to be defined. When a route designation instruction is inputted, it is determined whether an intersection being a target for route designation is present close to the current position. When the intersection being the target is present, it is determined whether a lane the vehicle is traveling is a traffic directed lane that includes a traffic direction. When the traveled lane is determined to be the traffic directed lane, a start point is defined as an exit of the intersection reached by following the traffic direction. When the traveled lane is determined to be not the traffic directed lane or when the intersection for the target is determined to be not present, the start point is defined as the current position.

  • Patent number: 6778948
Abstract: An induced explosion of a firework ball is represented using a small processing volume. A range for an induced explosion is set around a firework ball to be exploded drawn on a display image, for example, as indicated by the broken line in FIG. 10A in accordance with attributes of the firework ball. A drawing range of each firework ball under management, the range being indicated by its attributes, is referred to, and any other firework ball drawn in the range is set as a firework ball to be exploded. As a result, the firework ball located around the exploded firework ball is also exploded as shown in FIG. 10B.

  • Patent number: 6686919
Abstract: A dynamic image is decorated effectively with a small of processing volume. As shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B, images A that form a dynamic image representing a spreading firework are sequentially created in order in time in which the images appear in the dynamic image. On the currently created image shown in FIG. 6A, an image obtained by enlarging a spark portion of the image preceding the current image by a predetermined number is drawn in such a manner that it looks semi-transparent to obtain the image as shown in FIG. 6B.

  • Patent number: 6646642
Abstract: An image representing a motion of an object is obtained with a small processing volume. As shown in FIGS. 5A through 5G, positions in a three-dimensional space associated with sparks of a firework ball are sequentially calculated in accordance with motion characteristics of the sparks. Positions on a camera screen are obtained by projecting the calculated positions of the sparks at the current point in time in FIG. 5C, and a spark texture D is drawn in those positions. An image G representing a locus of each of the sparks is obtained by drawing a line segment connecting points that form a history of the points on the camera screen which are projections of points associated with each of the spark (points on a same radial line in FIG. 5F).

  • Patent number: 4826572
Abstract: In a press-dehydrating section in a paper making machine, for the purpose of facilitating the replacement of a roll by lifting it up and axially moving it with crabs and wires, a portion of a frame of the press-dehydrating section positioned above the roll to be replaced is cut out, and both frame portions facing the cut-out portion are coupled by another frame member that is swingable over a predetermined angle in a horizontal plane. Thus, a dangerous and troublesome operation of rehanging a roll lifted up with crabs and wires by another wire can be dispensed with.
