Abstract: A plastic clip to be tightened against a bolt comprises a plastic body having a base having a through hole to be penetrated vertically by the bolt, at least one upright post extending upright from the top of the base adjacent to the through hole, a cylindrical portion united to the outer end of the upright post and having a hole formed above and coaxial with the through hole in the base for receiving the bolt, and a flexible arm extending in a curved fashion from one side of the upright post between the base and the cylindrical portion to slightly project with respect to the outer shape of the cylindrical portion having a curved inner surface provided with a thread to be meshed with the male thread of the bolt, and a plastic operable cylinder fitted on the outer periphery of the cylindrical portion and lowered along the upright post to urge the flexible arm against the periphery of the bolt.

Abstract: A fastener for plates includes a leg portion for engaging with a first mounting plate, a flange portion integrally secured to the leg portion, a head portion projecting from the flange portion for holding a second mounting plate between the flange portion and the head portion, a cut-away portion formed by cutting away part of the head portion from its outer periphery towards its axis for allowing the head portion to be inserted into a mounting hole of a second mounting plate by a rotating action, and a resilient portion for pressing against the inner periphery of the mounting hole of the second mounting plate which is secured by the flange portion.

Abstract: A mechanism for opening and closing a lid is disclosed, which includes a rotary damper and an auxiliary rotary damper. An input gear of the rotary damper is in mesh with an output gear of a lid. An input gear of the auxiliary rotary damper is in mesh with the output gear of the lid or the input gear of the rotary damper. Thus, the lid can be sufficiently braked during the opening and closing operations.

Abstract: A fastener comprises two, i.e. male and female, members for coupling together a plurality of panels in a spaced-apart and face-to-face relation to one another. The female member has a locking body portion and also has locking pawl portions united by hinge portions to the locking body portion for flexing with respect thereto. The male member is fitted in one of two panels and detachably coupled to the female member fitted in the other panel.
