  • Patent number: 4811697
Abstract: An induction system for a multiple cylinder internal combustion engine that employs a pair of plenum chambers with a common air inlet. An exhaust gas recirculation system is provided for distributing exhaust gases equally to the chambers of the engine by re-introducing the exhaust gases to the common air inlet. In a similar manner, a crankcase ventilating system is provided wherein the crankcase gases are delivered to the common air inlet for equal distribution of the chambers.

  • Patent number: 4782797
Abstract: An induction system for a multiple cylinder internal combustion engine that employs a pair of plenum chambers with a common air inlet. An exhaust gas recirculation system is provided for distributing exhaust gases equally to the chambers of the engine by re-introducing the exhaust gases to the common air inlet through an integrally formed conduit.

  • Patent number: 4328262
Abstract: A layer of aluminum on a semiconductor substrate is covered by a layer of phospho-silicate glass. The surface of the semiconductor chip is covered with a positive photoresist film which is then heat treated. An upper surface of the photoresist film is covered with a polyimide resin which is heat treated, thereafter. If the semiconductor device is devoid of the layer of phospho-silicate glass, and the layer of aluminum is exposed, a positive photoresist film is interposed on the aluminum and the polyimide resin is applied to cover the upper surface of the interlayer, and is heat treated.

  • Patent number: 4328263
Abstract: In a method of manufacturing semiconductor devices, liquid glass is applied to the substrate of a semiconductor device to cover the upper surface of a film of photoresist formed on a conductor layer of the substrate and used as an etching mask for patterning the conductor layer. The substrate is baked at a sufficiently high temperature to harden the liquid glass and deform and shrink the photoresist film to expose the sides of such film. The photoresist film is removed. The hardened liquid glass on the photoresist film is simultaneously removed by lift off.

  • Patent number: 4191140
Abstract: A rectifying plate is fitted in the intake manifold of an internal combustion engine between the carburetor primary and secondary intake passages. The primary intake passage is closer to the engine cylinders than the secondary intake passage, and the rectifying plate encourages uniformity of flow rates and richness of mixture to the various cylinders by reducing flow to the closer cylinders and encouraging it to the farther cylinders.
