  • Patent number: 8592514
Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a urethane (meth)acrylate composition that forms a coating film with excellent surface-drying property at ordinary temperature through four seasons, slidability, and pinhole resistance (formation of a coating film that is free from pinholes), and a coating material using the urethane (meth)acrylate composition. The present invention provides a urethane (meth)acrylate resin composition including a urethane (meth)acrylate resin (A), a polymerizable unsaturated monomer (B), a paraffin wax (C), and an ethylene-?-olefin co-oligomer (D). The mass ratio of the paraffin wax (C) to the ethylene-?-olefin co-oligomer (D) is 0.05 to 50. The present invention also provides a coating material using the urethane (meth)acrylate composition.

  • Patent number: 8277944
Abstract: A primer composition used for applying a radical-curable resin-based waterproof material onto a concrete floor slab of an existing or newly established road bridge, is a troublesome application. For example, it is a problem in that a large machine is required for application thereof. The primer composition is a resin composition containing a urethane (meth)acrylate resin, (B) a polymerizable unsaturated monomer containing a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate (B-1) and another polymerizable unsaturated monomer (B-2), (C) a curing accelerator, (D) a paraffin wax, and (E) a drying aid, in which the above components satisfy a specific molar ratio and specific mass ratios. The primer composition has a good crack-load-following capability, blistering resistance, adhesiveness, and bending resistance. Also provided is a waterproof floor slab structure using the primer composition and a method for waterproofing a floor slab.

  • Patent number: 6512046
Abstract: A practical polymerizable unsaturated polyester resin composition is provided, wherein a polyester skeleton derived from collected PET is introduced, for effective utilization of waste PET such as a PET bottle which has recently been considered a large obstacle to environmental protection. The polymerizable unsaturated polyester resin composition comprises a straight-chain polyester (A) having a (meth)acryloyl group at both ends of molecules and an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (B), said straight-chain polyester (A) having a (meth)acryloyl group at both ends of molecules being obtained by reacting: (a) a terephthalate oligomer having a hydroxyl group at both ends of molecules resulted from the alcoholysis reaction of collected waste polyethylene terephthalate by an aliphatic glycol having an ether bond, (b) a dibasic acid containing an aromatic dibasic acid as a principal component, and (c) a glycidyl meth)acrylate.
