  • Publication number: 20180070623
Abstract: The problem of the present invention is to provide a dry composition containing a yeast extract, which shows improved adhesion to facility during production and improved caking during preservation, and has high intensity of taste or high quality of taste, and a production method thereof. The present invention provides a dry composition containing a yeast extract and a dry yeast, which composition has a value calculated by dividing a cell wall fraction (wt %) in the dry yeast by a total nitrogen content (wt %) in the dry yeast of not more than 16. In addition, the present invention provides a method of producing a dry composition, containing a step of drying a yeast extract together with a dry yeast, and having a value calculated by dividing a cell wall fraction (wt %) in the dry yeast by a total nitrogen content (wt %) in the dry yeast of not more than 16.

  • Patent number: 4714056
Abstract: A two-cycle engine includes a cylinder block having at least one pair of first and second cylinders, the first and second cylinders having a pair of first and second exhaust ports, respectively. A pair of first and second pistons are received respectively in the first and second cylinders for reciprocal movement therealong, each of the exhaust ports being selectively closed and opened by a respective one of the pistons during the movement thereof along a respective one of the cylinders. The first and second pistons are operatively connected to a crankshaft in such a manner that the first and second pistons are reciprocable 180.degree. out of phase along the respective cylinders. A final portion of the duration of opening of one of the exhaust ports overlaps an initial portion of the duration of opening of the other. An exhaust passage has a communicating portion communicating the first and second exhaust ports with each other adjacent thereto.

  • Patent number: 4711201
Abstract: A two-cycle engine includes an engine body having at least one cylinder, the cylinder having an exhaust port and at least one scavenge port disposed generally in opposed relation to the exhaust port. A piston is received in the cylinder for reciprocal movement therealong and having an outer peripheral surface for closing the exhaust and scavenge ports during the reciprocal movement thereof. The piston has a transverse bore extending therethrough with opposite ends of the transverse bore opening to the outer peripheral surface of the piston. The opposite ends of the transverse bore is capable of being brought into facing relation to the opposed exhaust and scavenge ports, respectively, during the reciprocal movement of the piston. A hollow wrist pin is received in the transverse bore and retained therein, one end of the wrist pin being closed.

  • Patent number: 4706617
Abstract: A two-cycle engine includes a port timing control device including a port timing control valve which is mounted on a cylinder block and has a timing control surface. The control valve is movable in a plane substantially perpendicular to the axis of a cylinder between a closed position where the valve is disposed in an exhaust passage with the control surface closing the end portion of the exhaust port closer to a cylinder head and an open position where the valve is held out of the exhaust passage to open the end portion of the exhaust port. The control surface is of an arcuate concave shape and having a curvature substantially equal to that of an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder so as to be smoothly continuous with the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 4103541
Abstract: A method of measurement of relaxation phenomena, in which input signals representing a relaxation phenomenon are recorded at equal intervals for logarithmic values of time.A measuring device for relaxation phenomena which comprises a logarithmic time pulse oscillator for producing pulse signals at equal intervals for logarithmic values of time, and a recorder for recording input signals representing a relaxation phenomenon converted into an electrical quantity, which operates to perform recording each time a pulse signal is produced.
